The loyalty and trust that your members have for you and that you have for them is a relationship that every human being only can hope they find in your lifetime. You are restoring hope for ARMYs and people everywhere that the right people will find you if you are patient. Sometimes, it’s hard to think that you’ll ever find friends that are as completely loving and honest with you as you are with your members, but you teach people that by just being yourself, that unconditional love will come right to you. I know that it goes without saying that you have created nothing but over ten years of the most precious and treasured moments with your members by your side that undoubtedly have helped you become who you are today. I don’t even need to say how grateful and simply happy your members are because of you because anybody can see it in the way that they carry themselves. You teach them how to be themselves, make them laugh at any given moment with your unpredictable and unconventional humor, and cheer them up with the wisest and sincerest of words. None of the members would be able to achieve their dreams without you and BTS would never be what it is today without your endless influence and individuality leading it to represent a pure and eternal love. I love how artistic and intelligent you are; and that you seem so connected to the artistic side of life. You teach us not to have any judgments towards anyone or anything and accept the world around us just as it is. You took something as a common as a color and transformed it into a movement and a revolution. You reinvented the term “purple” and gave it meaning. I know that you recently said that ARMY did, and you only noticed it, but it is truly that you gave us a symbol to believe in. Now, we all have our own secret language to share and build each other up with. This is just one of the countless actions and creations you’ve made in the past 10+ years just for us. Cool! I know some people said this was cringy, but I actually like this video even more knowing that they were challenged to step outside of their comfort zones and engage with women in a way they hadn’t in their Korean vids. They even got to choose the ladies for the video. Suga was right when he said that would probably be the only time they could make a vid like that. Their tutors in one of the “Hustle Life” clips actually pointed out that BTS’s vids were dope but lacked the presence of women, and since they came out to LA to learn hip hop culture, they needed to immerse themselves in the style of an American hip hop video. But from a bigger lens, I feel it was about them finding the confidence to engage with females. Their tutors actually helped BTS practice how to talk to and approach women, which is something that takes practice. And when you’re a Kpop idol who isn’t allowed to date, imagine the learning curve that places upon a guy who isn’t able to regularly engage with girls due to their obligation to their contract. Normal guys their age are dating and having girlfriends (things we take for granted), but BTS wasn’t living in that reality, so it’s nice that they got the chance to put themselves out there, boost their confidence, and just have some fun! Mission accomplished!
