Everyone did great!! But these are my top 6. Some were very entertaining and fun to listen to and some were aggressive and just sound super crisp and sharp and a few others are smooth and groovy. So I chose these as my favorites so far, not that anyone asked tho XD 0:28 1:33 3:52 5:40 9:13 10:01

I'm fine with rappers from idol industries as long as they know what they're getting into. Issue stands with hiw fans behave. And I'm fine with fans as long as they don't bring their blind following and support culture,know how to take critisisms and jibes,although rude sometimes. As far as I know(I'm new to k-hiphop tbh) things like this aren't considered as rude as they are considered in idol industry. Even for hiphop fans,dissing isn't as rude. On the other hand,hiphop stans,especially smtm fans get that there are a quite good number of idol rappers who are rappers not because their company wants them but because they are capable of being a authentic rapper. Get it through your head that kpop stans aren't imposing or discrediting others,its in their manner to support their artists. It may be different for you,but please be understanding of the other. I hope both hiphop enthusiasts and idol enthusiasts understand so its a genuinely fun rap contest instead of fanwar-type competition..!!

Bruh, most khiphop fans in the khiphop community has been understanding with these issues Korean rappers vs idol rappers is so 2013... Bobby zico mino gd has been breaking those barriers.... Many rappers even collabing with idols, heck look at RAVI he literally own khiphop labels... Khiphop community is more than welcoming to idols who really loves hiphop... Back then even korean rappers who wears makeup dress like idols etc got bashed, nowadays look at the smtm eps, many of the rappers even dressed up like idols, so yeah no barriers no more. Kpop stans should stop bringing this issues back, if khiphop fans mad its not for their idols its the fandom for the reason that youve been saying in your comment like spamming blind support disrespectful etc.

But especially smtm has progressed from that stage the moment bobby and mino stepped up to finale. But I agree with you 100%. As long as fandoms are not obnoxious,k-hiphop community has been very very welcoming as long as idol fandoms don't go like "he deserved to win","idk why he got in and why my fav didn't" or something. Like you are fully entitled to question the judges' choices but at the end of the day,they know better. My personal take would be flow and pronounciation matter a LOT for idol artists(as given the songs) whereas in insider k hiphop community attitude and confidence play as important role as flow. The reason why many idols enthusiasts watching rap contests don't understand prelims selection most of the times.
yeah, like, as a kpop fan, i get really angry at others who continuously misbehave. i'm getting into k-hiphop a bit too, cause it's interesting, but like, i get so frustrated with fans spamming the comments, especially because we know that if we act this way, the idol in question is not gonna make it as far as he could. this is an experience that he wanted for himself and i'm proud of him, which means that i'm gonna sit back and applaud him from a distance, and do my fan shit somewhere else. i'm here because of him, but that doesn't mean that i'm not gonna find other artists that i may like, who knows? maybe i'll enjoy other rappers too. music is music. idk if this was a coherent message, english is my only language, but i'm tired from fighting other kpop fans on this.
asaad daasa SMTM 3 and 4 had the top contestants who were really strong and charismatic I mean the ACES. Most of them Re-appeared in other seasons of SMTM and won the show or became a top ten or runner up. For ex Bewhy super Bee Basic Cjamm Killagramz hashswan Young B and many others! Even Giriboy who is a producer in this season competed himself in SMTM 3 and made it to top 8
@@cutaebangtan5654 I’d argue that smtm5 is really overlooked in that regard. A lot of people came back in that season and a lot of veterans started joining. Like you said, cjamm, bewhy, superbee and more were in that one. And a lot of the contestants in that season came back in later seasons as absolute beasts

I think the ones I like the most about his flow are the guy from 2:51 like, his energy and tone of voice is just wooow, you can tell he enjoys it, an interesting type to listen to, the other one I like would be the guy with 9:13 that rhythm is very addictive on top gives a strong look, not to mention the lyrics what awesome

Ok not gonna lie we had seasons that really weren't the strongest so I thought changbin actually wouldn't have it to hard proving himself and he did good but the competition this year is really interesting lots of fascinating sounds .... At this point it's almost more about persona and memorable style than just skill

But I agree with you 100%. As long as fandoms are not obnoxious,k-hiphop community has been very very welcoming as long as idol fandoms don't go like "he deserved to win","idk why he got in and why my fav didn't" or something. Like you are fully entitled to question the judges' choices but at the end of the day,they know better.
My personal take would be flow and pronounciation matter a LOT for idol artists(as given the songs) whereas in insider k hiphop community attitude and confidence play as important role as flow. The reason why many idols enthusiasts watching rap contests don't understand prelims selection most of the times.
yeah, like, as a kpop fan, i get really angry at others who continuously misbehave. i'm getting into k-hiphop a bit too, cause it's interesting, but like, i get so frustrated with fans spamming the comments, especially because we know that if we act this way, the idol in question is not gonna make it as far as he could. this is an experience that he wanted for himself and i'm proud of him, which means that i'm gonna sit back and applaud him from a distance, and do my fan shit somewhere else.
i'm here because of him, but that doesn't mean that i'm not gonna find other artists that i may like, who knows? maybe i'll enjoy other rappers too. music is music.

asaad daasa SMTM 3 and 4 had the top contestants who were really strong and charismatic I mean the ACES. Most of them Re-appeared in other seasons of SMTM and won the show or became a top ten or runner up. For ex Bewhy super Bee Basic Cjamm Killagramz hashswan Young B and many others! Even Giriboy who is a producer in this season competed himself in SMTM 3 and made it to top 8

Like you said, cjamm, bewhy, superbee and more were in that one. And a lot of the contestants in that season came back in later seasons as absolute beasts

Ok not gonna lie we had seasons that really weren't the strongest so I thought changbin actually wouldn't have it to hard proving himself and he did good but the competition this year is really interesting lots of fascinating sounds .... At this point it's almost more about persona and memorable style than just skill
