Before anyone decides to bash me, I want to say that I speak with some experience and I’m not trying to be biased towards anybody. I can tell that Stephanie’s strong suit is Ballet, but that doesn’t mean that she “sucks” at hip-hop. I practiced and took ballet for 11 years and after I stopped I started to take hip hop classes. Let me tell you, it was not easy to switch between those two. In ballet, you’re taught to keep all of your movements sharp and smooth while looking elegant. You’re arms are always in different positions and usually correspond with the position of the legs. And to top it off, a ballerina is taught every position and move(jeté, pirouette, arabesque, etc.). With hip hop, there’s not a lot of labels to the moves used and there’s usually more freestyle. I respect Stephanie’s performance and applaud her for dancing outside of her strong suit. I watched both Stephanie and Ten’s performances and I liked both of them. I admit, I felt more chemistry with Ten’s dance, but I mostly watch these videos because of the dancers and the brilliance of each choreography. Much love to all of our amazing dancers. ❤️

I would've thought that Stephanie was a contestant on the show and Hyunseung was part of her "crew". She moved really beautifully and gracefully but Hyunseung kinda blended into the background...(The fact that he wore an all black outfit with a black background behind him dose'nt help)There was no chemistry though and I couldn't see Hyunseung's expressions at all. Not the best performance tbh..the audience can think and vote how they want but if he got the most points that day I'd be very confused because Ukwon and Ten both had stronger performances.
I liked this video just for Stephanie. She did so well (even better than Hyun Seung). But I'm still looking forward to his next performance. Hope he can do it better.
Just my random opinion here: I personally don't think the choreography crossed a line of any sort, but I think it was too much. There's nothing inherently wrong with vulgarity itself, but the choreographer clearly tried incredibly hard to make it sexy that it came across as very forced. Also, I don't think either of them did very well dancing this, which is sad because I know that they're both normally very good dancers. Idk if it was the style, tempo, whatever, but neither of them seemed clean and Steph felt really stiff and overexaggerated. They felt very awkward with each other, no emotion chemistry at all. It felt like neither of them were really into it. On an unrelated note: I love Ten so much! His resting face is just like mine (We both look mean when we're not smile.). I much preferred his performance.

To be honest I wish he had chosen a different partner for this dance. Don’t get me wrong, I really respect Stephanie as a dancer but I know that she was trained in ballet. It shows in her dancing and I don’t think this style suited her well at all. She was very stiff and her movements were sloppy. I don’t blame her because it’s very hard to do hip hop if you’re more on the classically trained side. I just think someone more trained in hip hop would’ve been a better partner.

No when I see troublemaker, I can still see both the guy and the girl. They are both the lead dancers. It's not just women who has to be sexy. If you watched the dance for troublemaker you can see that clearly. The way the dance is choreographed was meant for both genders to shine. The rest of the work is carried out by the dancers themselves. In this case, stephanie has basically all the attention on her because she sorta did a better job at it lmao. The dude was wearing all black and covering his face while the stage was already dark. Stephanie wore a white top and shorts so it contrasts well. Obv she stood out more.

p.s : the performance may not have been powerful , i can understand some people are disappointed because we are used to " powerful Hyunseung" , but the theme was " love " so it's kind of suitable to have a lit performance ^^

Before anyone decides to bash me, I want to say that I speak with some experience and I’m not trying to be biased towards anybody. I can tell that Stephanie’s strong suit is Ballet, but that doesn’t mean that she “sucks” at hip-hop. I practiced and took ballet for 11 years and after I stopped I started to take hip hop classes. Let me tell you, it was not easy to switch between those two. In ballet, you’re taught to keep all of your movements sharp and smooth while looking elegant. You’re arms are always in different positions and usually correspond with the position of the legs. And to top it off, a ballerina is taught every position and move(jeté, pirouette, arabesque, etc.). With hip hop, there’s not a lot of labels to the moves used and there’s usually more freestyle. I respect Stephanie’s performance and applaud her for dancing outside of her strong suit. I watched both Stephanie and Ten’s performances and I liked both of them. I admit, I felt more chemistry with Ten’s dance, but I mostly watch these videos because of the dancers and the brilliance of each choreography. Much love to all of our amazing dancers. ❤️

I would've thought that Stephanie was a contestant on the show and Hyunseung was part of her "crew". She moved really beautifully and gracefully but Hyunseung kinda blended into the background...(The fact that he wore an all black outfit with a black background behind him dose'nt help)There was no chemistry though and I couldn't see Hyunseung's expressions at all. Not the best performance tbh..the audience can think and vote how they want but if he got the most points that day I'd be very confused because Ukwon and Ten both had stronger performances.
I agree with the part that hyunseung didn't stand out. He really didn't. And it was obvious the girl was a way better dancer than him.

Just my random opinion here: I personally don't think the choreography crossed a line of any sort, but I think it was too much. There's nothing inherently wrong with vulgarity itself, but the choreographer clearly tried incredibly hard to make it sexy that it came across as very forced. Also, I don't think either of them did very well dancing this, which is sad because I know that they're both normally very good dancers. Idk if it was the style, tempo, whatever, but neither of them seemed clean and Steph felt really stiff and overexaggerated. They felt very awkward with each other, no emotion chemistry at all. It felt like neither of them were really into it.
On an unrelated note: I love Ten so much! His resting face is just like mine (We both look mean when we're not smile.). I much preferred his performance.

To be honest I wish he had chosen a different partner for this dance. Don’t get me wrong, I really respect Stephanie as a dancer but I know that she was trained in ballet. It shows in her dancing and I don’t think this style suited her well at all. She was very stiff and her movements were sloppy. I don’t blame her because it’s very hard to do hip hop if you’re more on the classically trained side. I just think someone more trained in hip hop would’ve been a better partner.

No when I see troublemaker, I can still see both the guy and the girl. They are both the lead dancers. It's not just women who has to be sexy. If you watched the dance for troublemaker you can see that clearly. The way the dance is choreographed was meant for both genders to shine. The rest of the work is carried out by the dancers themselves. In this case, stephanie has basically all the attention on her because she sorta did a better job at it lmao. The dude was wearing all black and covering his face while the stage was already dark. Stephanie wore a white top and shorts so it contrasts well. Obv she stood out more.
