Do not criticize Sakura, she already said she chose the song because she wanted to try to pass a girl crush image so it's something out of her comfort zone. The lines she picked up matched her vocals and did not turn out bad. The performance was good and her attitude really caught the eye and matched the proposed concept.

yes, sakura isn’t exactly the best in singing, but what makes her stand out is the way she carries herself. she’s able to adjust to different concepts while remaining true to herself. her stage presences in every performance is just remarkable and it leaves you just wanting to see more of her. you can have all the skills in singing and dancing, but if you don’t know how to captivate the audience, you’ll never excel as a performer. the way she brings herself in each performance exudes confidence and passion, and it comes naturally. she’s learning and improving with the technicalities of singing and dancing.
Let's just accept the fact that without proper training she's slaying than other typical J-idol. Give her time and she'll shine way more brighter than what she does now.

At the beginning of this show, i wasn't really convinced that Sakura deserves to be in the final lineup. But after watching this performance of hers, I changed my mind. :) She indeed has that charisma on stage. She's a stan/fan magnet. And I am more than convinced now that the final lineup NEEDS her, especially if the show is targeting a really massive audience for their future group. You gain my respect Sakura. :)

People complaining about pronunciation. Don't get me started because you know that kpop singers don't sing that well in japanese neither (some exceptions like boa and tvxq) so we should try to recognize that all of them at least are trying and doing their best even when their pronunciation is not perfect, it goes for japanese singing in korean and vice versa.
exactly. especially with the nekkoya dance videos, a lot of the korean trainees didn't even try to sing in japanese. the japanese girls memorized all the words and gave it their all.
Alejandra Cruz That's right. I rarely listen to Kpop singers' songs in Japanese ver cause their pronunciation is bad. They sing in Japanese with a Korean accent. It's so hard to understand. I've learned Japanese for years. Even I can communicate with native speakers but honestly, there are so many Korean songs in Japanese ver which I couldn't hear what they sing.
Korean singers have a quite long time to prepare and practice Japanese before releasing their songs. But it's not sure that they can do well. And Sakura had only 1 week to learn Korean, pronunciation, dancing and performing. I don't want to understand why people blame her, I just know that's double standard.
