well jessi and 2am, both from 2nd generations. Jessi debut 2006 if I did not mistake, a year after suju. She debut under sm. That is why she was good with 2nd generation during the show.

One of the things that is special about 2nd generation idols is that they weren't that many then compared to next gen. There are more interactions between artists. There is also a friendly competition between active artists. I would pay a million bucks if a show is able to gather all 2nd generation idols. That will be chaos.
I miss 2AM. I'm really glad they're coming back.

@@miriii_6066 i started during 2nd gen. It’s fun. They have different concepts from each other which is interesting. I’m more eager to learn other groups compared to today. I would say majority of the groups are really hilarious as well. There are more interactions in variety shows. I wouldn’t say it’s peaceful between fandoms though! It’s just different methods of fighting at present :))

@@gumworms5199 Same here! I became a kpop fan during the 2nd gen and I got to say I miss the idols and their interactions back then. Of course the current idols are talented and working hard but kpop used to be alot more fun back during the 2nd gen. Idols of the opposite gender pulled pranks on each other, hung out together and even appeared very friendly and close during broadcasts as well. There were scandals here and there but it wasn't as bad as it is now. I really want to see SHINee, SNSD, SuJu, Highlight, 2PM, 2PM and any other 2nd gen idols get together!! It would bring a whole new definition to the word chaos🤣😂

Newer fans don’t even know how happy this makes us who’s been into kpop since the 2nd Gen! 2AM’s “This Song” to me to this day is one of the most lyrically beautiful kpop ballad’s out there. “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die” will also always hit different!! So happy to see 2Am again!

I love seeing 2nd Gen Groups be free and genuinely having a good time. It seems like artists were more subdued back in the day due to keeping up their image. I would love to see more Ending Fairy poses in the future. They always make me laugh. 😂👍 Thanks for having them on the show!

I think all my favorite episodes were the ones with 2nd gen idols. Because she technically falls into the category, it’s fun to see how well she relates to everyone. I wonder when she’ll have jay park or 2PM on. That would be fun, but honestly, this episode, key’s episode and Minho’s episode are my top 3 and honorable mention to the highlight episode because the start of that was a fun chaotic mess.

This is just so refreshing to watch of them all together in one frame . Last time I watched them was Jo Kwon, Seulong and other 2pm members. Even after all their peer competitors form their own company like 2pm and Wonder Girls were so big during that time, they still manage to top the charts with consecutive wins as a ballad idol group. So proud to where they have come now!

as someone who becoming a kpop fan since 2nd gen (specifically around the end of 2007) you don't know how happy i am seeing more 2nd gen idols back to the industry. i have literal tears rn. hope to see more of 2nd gen stars here. not to mention this gen had avid and immaculate variety skills.

I love watching 2nd gen idols appear on shows because they were the generation that had the best variety skills. Also the ones who were able to be casually funny. A lot of the newer idols are too shy or tense. It just hits different with the "old school" idols. The vibes are amazing.
