Family Transforms Rare School Bus into STUNNING Tiny House: 2 Year Timelapse!

- This is the complete school bus (skoolie) to tiny house conversion timelapse showing our transformation of a rare 1987 Gillig Phantom school bus only made on the West Coast from 1986 to 1992 and most have been crushed/scrapped. We bought it in November of 2017. We had no idea what we were doing but we figured it out and pushed through and finished it in late 2019. Building this Skoolie and documenting it on KRplus has lead us to leave our jobs and pursue an alternative American Dream, for better or worse!! Thanks for watching and thanks for your support.

You can do anything you set your mind to.
These days skills are very easy to learn. People just think you have to hire someone to fix everything. I’ve never went to school learn how to fix cars but I recently over a one week span fixed my while braking system, rotors, calipers, pads and hoses on my car and also fixed my ax compressor simply by watching KRplus videos. Even took the car to get a diagnostic and everything was fine and dandy. I saved a potential $3.5K I was going to have to pay the mechanics to do it.
Lmao. Anyone can do this. This man took 2 years on a 2 weeks max project.

My husband and I are now getting close to our 70s after spending a lifetime in construction for our employment, and camping for our enjoyment, we have had a lot of different recreation vehicles including boats and an aeroplane, we have done work on most of them (we are now camping in an older model Ford trail light motorhome . Watching this video is amazing and I can’t wait for my husband to come in from outside shovelling snow to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and watch your amazing work unfold, awesome job with the video.

My dad is an engineer and one of her costumer request him to build an rv made of wood. He only required an engine and other components to make the vehicle move and he took almost a year to build it. We earned a lot of cash because of that costumer.
I love my dad he always does incredible things just to make me and my siblings get a healthy life. He works twice as hard after my mom died of cancer ❤️

Been almost around Australia in a Caravan with Mum & Dad didn't quite get to Tasmania then but i have been just lately, was going to Darwin to complete my trip around this month but borders were closed ...a real bummer

While I was building I was thinking about how much physical energy it took and I felt grateful that I was tackling it in my early 30's. But now that I've done it I think I've got a couple more builds in me before I tire out. Thanks for the compliment!

Presumably they did it like an RV with a black and grey water tanks for the shower as for the toilet it seems to be a compost toilet
@@MiguelAngel-kz5ku if it's a compost toilet then it should be self contained and just emptied and cleaned when needed so no need for tanks for that
