Lol.... the Game of Monopoly should have taught humanity that the GAME ends when one person Hoards it all. A circular and strong economy comes when there are exchanges of finances and that doesn't happen when the few have it all.
Humans are led to fear technology but a knife in the hands of a chef is better than in the hands of a killer. Humanity should setup a system that prevents the killer from getting hold of the knife but at the same time makes sure the future chefs will have the knives.
Hence currently the killer has the resources for the technology and they are using it to hoard wealth by canceling jobs.. and they don't want (not know) how to lead humanity to a better future for everyone.

Ask yourself... what is a job? It is when one is asked to do a task and they get paid for it right?
Now these "leaders" at the top are using the fear tactic that AI and machines are taking jobs right?
Tell me when an AI or machine has been able to live and embrace their salaries and benefits etc. Who then is taking or hoarding the salaries and $$$ from not paying the benefits?
So who is really taking the JOBS? When humanity isn't taught to think, it is easy for society to blindly listen and follow those they entrust in position of leadership.

Most of the time all the choices people can vote for are equally or nearly equally terrible. And many times in history (I'm gonna use Australia cus I live here) the governments that were voted by the people because they offer a solution to problems end up backtracking on those solutions, and the people can't do a single thing about it except wait a couple more years to try and vote in a less shit government that has a high chance of doing absolutely nothing, and the cycle continues.

There are unintended disconnects between the negative consequences that Martin Ford postulates or projects, and both the narration and the visualization in this video. For example, there's Ford speculating about negative social, employment and economic consequences on a vast scale, driven by the growing competence and mastery of AI, but the accompanying visuals include people walking on the street, upright buildings that presumably serve some purpose, cars on a highway, etc. But given the inevitable level and scale of social disruption, there will be diminishing employment and human productivity, hundreds of millions of people waking up every morning with nothing to do, social chaos, tremendous levels of violence and little beside gutted and burned-out buildings (you'll remember, people don't behave well when there's existential stress). The whole economic system will likely implode as the entire transaction system disappears. So where's the food? If nobody's buying, who's selling? This idea that a small number of tech plutocrats will do just fine in this emerging revolution is, in my opinion, a complete fiction. The other fiction, I think, is to produce a voice-over that fails to take adequate account--believable account--of how people really behave in situations like this. It's my view that we are at the start--no, well beyond the start--of a profound evolutionary moment. Interesting that we have invented our successors.

QE is the main reason, a purposeful devaluation of your native currency by your central government, which reduces the real amount of money they have to pay for debt and also increases asset prices for the rich at the same time. Remember; when you spend money that money has to end up somewhere at the ones who own the business and the assets are the rich, so when the government put money into the economy via quantitative easing, it ends up with the rich.

You learn to occupy your time and pursue your passions. It’s the reason I never went back to work, yes, I technically work and bring money still, but I work for myself now and I do what I love that’s what’s gonna happen. People are gonna do what they wanna do not what they have to do for a paycheck. And depressed -the state of work nowadays is what’s making everyone’s depressed when you’re free to do what you like, depression won’t be a thing anymore.
well, we have to fix the food supply actually to completely cure depression. Because a lot of our food is making us very sick and people don’t even even realize it. But that’s a whole Nother conversation.

Very likely not. 2) We are still living in an economical system, where companies are not obligated to share earned profits with workers. Some countries had softed this when introduced forced high minimum hourly wages. Scandinavian countries, for example. 3) I do disagree with some interpretation of professions, like journalism, for example. Journalist is not just story writer, but rather: member of society; representee of some opinion; fighter for some rights. So, journalism will never be replaced by machines. 4) We will have a choice, if we want service will be done by machines or humans. So - choose the service by humans.

How could we define Free Will? A promising vision of the future for human and social sciences:
The immense challenge facing the forth revolution ahead must be relevant to the human and social natures of human beings.
The problem is that machines are getting more and more humanized, and humans are gettigng more and more machanized. However, the need to love and to be loved of the human beings would never diminish.
Specifically speaking, AI is artificial intelligence. Even though it could attain or surpass the level of “human” intelligence, it’s only in terms of inteligence which is just part of the human nature. Humans are emotional and social animals who have particular needs never be met by those other than humans.
Ultimately it’s up to the human and social sciences rather than natural sciences and technology to develop ways of satisfying human needs individually as well as collectively.
    We’ll see if it’s true.

Get we the people excited with hope and desire from amazing things hsppening now, then take it away with a negative path that leads to psychological pain and mental suffering from what has not, and may not happen.
