I love that their doing the actual story quest gameplay again. I just wish they they created dedicated maps like last time instead of mixing it with actual matches. Plus kudos to the 3 bloodhound packs as reward. I got a legendary finisher and legendary banner from it.
This was the best way to show how Bloodhound came to term with themself. If only there were less disruptive methods of doing the quest, it would have been better. I've had a squad trying to cherry pick kills off Bloodhounds dropping in by themselves to do the quest. I also had the opposite where a BH squad mate just broke off on their own, putting another squad mate and me in a 2 v 3 situation while he was doing the quest.
Finale was worth it, but the road... such a bad way of implementing story telling into live gameplay. Not only interrupted the flow it also was not convenient what so ever, even if do the right thing and do it in no fill duo. It especially felt bad in classic trio.
I agree; there were always so many other bloodhounds trying to complete the same tasks that it was honestly just a madhouse. I hope they fix it for the next story lines
@@neileapenninan8706 Sure!! So a lot of this is up to interpretation, but I think the whole purpose of this event was to give a deeper look into Bloodhound's past. The raven is often portrayed as a messenger for Odin in Norse mythology, (referenced as the "Allfather" within the game). I think that this extra gameplay was just to kind of show how Bloodhound was dealing with their guilt from a different perspective after "failing" their parents and home, and the acceptance they have found by realizing they can still be the Bloodhunter even though they have made mistakes. The idea that they are proving themself to the Allfather is designed to symbolize that they have become their truest and most authentic self: Bloodhound. The quest to save the beast and meet the raven along the way was meant to represent that journey of acceptance and navigation through the burden of the past that they carry. Like I said, a lot of this is up to interpretation, but this is how I viewed it!
I was looking for an explanation to what is happening, but I guess it ties to the story from the outlands that came out in season 3 (I think that’s what its called)

The raven, their uncle Artur, is sort of their guide on this quest, helping them understand that they don't need to be more than they are, or think less of themself (shown by the"I am not a god. But I am not nothing. I am Blothhundr" line)

That’s why there’s a option to uncheck “ fill teammates “ that why you can solo match and you’ll be the only one using BH
