For those who didn't see the reveal clip with a bit more extended footage of these mini Pufts, the hero tries to poke one in the belly kind of like a Pillsbury Dough Boy but instead the little brat bites his finger and the guy reacts as though that really hurt bad.
The story behind this movie is pretty amazing. Sony asked Ivan Reitman awhile back if he wanted to do another Ghostbusters, but he really was not into it. Then Sony did the new Ghostbusters without the Reitman's and had a huge bomb since it just rehashed the first movie for the most part. Then Jason Reitman talked to his father and with his backing, tried to get this movie made with Sony. It took many years but it looks like now he is getting his chance to continue the legacy his father started all those years ago. The nice thing is the original cast is behind this so we will see some Bill Murray, Dan Akyroid, Sigorney Weever, Annie Potts, and Ernie Hudson. For the first time Bill likes the script as he captured the imagination of his father in this one. Launch date: 11/11/21.
Or the truth, which is that the studio head Amy Pascal wanted to make a girl power movie, decided to use a well know license (GB) that Sony pictures owned, blackmailed Reitman into not directing then blackmailed the OG cast into making cameos, then hired Dippold and Feig to merely change all the characters into women and everyone else into idiot looking men, and make the exact same movie but dumber and with no connection to the original. THEN, after losing hundreds of millions of dollars on the 2016 flop they realised that they fucked up and decided to make a proper sequel to GB2.
I always though the video game i play back in my PS3 was the 3rd movie original concept, since the connection was made so well. This movie looks interesting, but the story feels off and kind of like a reboot with references to the original 2 movie. Let's hope it have a great story and not some kind of reboot for money.

Funf act, when they announced this movie years back they actually ahd the authentic etco 1 traveling to all of the cons around the nation and it was parked outside my house for an entire month. Not just a replica of the vehicle, no the actual etco 1 they shot in the movies. When you looked inside, it was autographed by all of the cast and crew. Beautiful, we took videos with it for days. We sat on the entire car smoking a blunt lmao. Best random moments as we walked down the street all you hear is ETCO!!! Sucks its taking so long for this to come out, its already been shot and is ready to go, not sure why they have been waiting. Possibly to make sure its seen in theaters and not released digitally. Its gonna be an experience for parents to bring their kids.
In real life, Dan Aykroyd actually grew up on a farm and had paranormal experiences there. It's what inspired him to make Ghostbusters so that may explain the movie's farm setting.

What a perfect opportunity to cameo Louis Tully (Rick Moranis) back! I'm hoping they do it. I was 10 years old enjoying my summer vacation in Key West when this movie came out in the theater. I still remember it perfectly today and still it takes me back to my youth and those wonderful days every time I watch it. What a great classic! It's nice to see it revamped for a newer generation.

And the story of Bill and Harold is tragic but it ended kind of beautifully. They hadn’t spoken since they filmed Groundhogs Day. Then when Harold was in the hospital on his deathbed, Bill Murray went to the town he was in, went to the police station and said “Take me to Harry.” He went to the hospital and stayed with him all night before he passed.

It's like life is coming full circle. I remember my parents taking me to the see the original when it first came out, I was 8 years old, and I loved the movie, still do. Ghostbusters II was ok, but I loved the cartoon when that was on. The sound of Ecto-1 starting up and the siren brought it all back. This movie might very well prove you can go home again.

When rudd grabs the blue velvet, i really feel that was improvised and his laugh was genuine. Like the director told him to go grab something, stay in frame and react.

And the story of Bill and Harold is tragic but it ended kind of beautifully. They hadn’t spoken since they filmed Groundhogs Day. Then when Harold was in the hospital on his deathbed, Bill Murray went to the town he was in, went to the police station and said “Take me to Harry.” He went to the hospital and stayed with him all night before he passed.

I don’t remember that scene you’re talking about, probably because I was pretty much checked out the whole time. But this whole reboot here looks like the whole thing is an appreciation for Harold Ramis and his character.

It's like life is coming full circle. I remember my parents taking me to the see the original when it first came out, I was 8 years old, and I loved the movie, still do. Ghostbusters II was ok, but I loved the cartoon when that was on. The sound of Ecto-1 starting up and the siren brought it all back. This movie might very well prove you can go home again.
We all know this is going to set box office records.
