there should be a warning for not watching it with your sister/brother lol
Yes, I'm drunk. And you're beautiful. And tomorrow morning, I'll be sober but you'll still be beautiful!
And he surely is beautiful
the best movie ever The Dreamers say that life must be lived, not dreamt. Thank you bertolucci
he sounds exactly like leonardo dicaprio and looks like him a bit too, so uhh that's enough for me to watch this movie
Love how natural and honest this movie is. I also love Michael Pitt's lips.
Did anyone notice how she had some sort of trauma and a panic attack when they started making out in HER room? She wouldn't let anyone in her room and she said: 'no one makes love in my room' as if her room is a representation of something clean, and sex is in her opinion the opposite. Her room looks nothing like her personality and is very childish and kinda creepy, filled with dolls etc. When Matthew first saw her interracting with her dad, he found it weird and the accent was on the way he was touching her. Theo said their parents never closed the door. I feel like we don't get the answers. I wanna know how the whole incest between the twins started? It usually happens when children are neglected and feel like they only have each other. It's just something that makes me wonder, why is she perfectly fine with having sex everywhere but in her room? Why does she start screaming and loses her mind when they are in her room? As if she has some sort of post-traumatic experience because a certain place makes her remember a past trauma
@@nursofeazaqira the mark on their shoulders is from their birth because they were conjoined
advice: watch that movie alone
or better: don't watch it at all. I know this movie sucks and I've never even watched it
I keep watching this movie over and over again, an addiction that I can't escape, and a time when I was in Paris in my twenties.
After I watched "300: Rsising---" I searched Eva Green and i found this movie
God still loves me
This movie is incredible, the actors are amazing and the soundtrack is brilliant
watched this with my sister.akward

I love this movie, but this trailer has a completely different vibe than the actual thing :(
Why everyone in the comments have seen this movie with brother/sister?
It's a bait. I bet you're a child if you don't know if these are fake or not.
This is the best movie of all time..which can perfectly introduce the meaning of being young, free and rebel.

Tumblr post brought me here
omg frrrr i always see the pics of the movies on tumblr and like till yesterday i found out that its from this movie hhahahha :P
Great Movie, Great Soundtrack. One of my favourites for sure. The Louvre Scene is unforgetful, just like in Bande Apart.
One of my favourite films!
Man i watched this when i was eleven
Changed me for the better
This is a film I admire & always have. A extraordinary glace at an unconventional union. The neatly tied scenes of music, film & art of great legend. Oh & of course.. Louis Garrel.🗼♥️
Loved this one! In the process of trying to find the book.
Louis Garrel in that tub is pure art (Eva Green is pure beauty as well)...I think this movie should be a lesson to film makers on how to portray nudity... I've never seen before nudity feel so natural, beautiful and non vulgar on screen before. (sorry about my english)
Too an extent but skinny white naked people isn’t the vibe, would have been better to portray real bodies
one of my favourites , just love the way they live
One of my favourite movies of all time ❤
Eva green the hottest actress, would walk over hot coals, just to get a date with her!!
Its so good to know that theres still masterpieces like this one out there in the world.
This is the greatest film I have ever seen. Every movie I see I would change at least one scene. This is the only film that every scene is perfectly mesmerizing. The only film that makes me look at the room I'm in and think "Why am I not in France still?" I forget everything around me. Absolute perfection. "To Michael, Eva, and Louis- Any other actors would have been impostors." - Gilbert Adair
Honestly this movie is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Sure it’s got some adult themes in it that’s pretty saturated but I feel like it goes with the general theme of escapism the three find themselves in during the midst of the French Revolution.
one of my favourite movies of all time. gotta love eva green
I saw this movie about 4/5 years ago and I have been looking for it ever since and now I've found it. I'm shocked, can't wait to see it again.
' A swooning love letter to paris,to cinema and to love'. That's so true.. There's only one word describing this movie: PERFECTION.
i saw this movie today. so odd but I still loved it. they all played their characters beautifully. talk about a good looking VERY talented cast. Michael Pitt always chooses such interesting scripts to do.
One of my favorite films ever 💘
My natural love for classic films brought me here

Wonderful film - one of the best of the decade.!!!
Eva Green has the most wonderful voice. Amazing to look at, but when she speaks -- incredible.
one of my favorite movies!
i wish there are more films like this one.
Ordered this movie off amazon. Just got shipped. Can't wait to get it!!!!
this movie is amazing, the characters are very interesting to analyze
Absolutely adore this movie, Louis Garrel is one of my favorite actors, love him. Not really sure in which genre this movie would be classified? Does anyone have similar movie suggestions? :D
Remember watching this on tv late at night about a year ago, never got round to remembering the name of it! fantastic movie.
i just did see it!
good film, funny, special, fresh, interesting point o view abot twins &relationship..
eva green deserves a nomimation for her work...
Just beatiful!
One of the most beautiful, emotional, humanistic films I have seen!!
감사합니다!
Great movie, im watching this with so many "pause" n "rewind'😀
Very good movie, if you like cinematography and good acting this is a really great movie with mature topics. The fact that it is sexy and twisted combining a far left movement and genuine art means it never got the coverage it deserved unfortunately :/
oh god i remember watching this in 2005 in the living room with my two siblings... super awkward.
the soundtrack is perfect..very good songs
I think your comment is what gave me the go ahead to watch this movie next and it is very much true.
@LesChampsMagnetiques thank you for posting it! =)
One of my favourite movies!
what a great film... LOVE!
I always saw this movie as a more so hardcore version of "The perks of being a wall flower". They are both so great...PHALLUS APPROVES!!!
+TitusTHEIDIOTICFENOM oh god now i wish the perks of being a wallflower actors did this fuck why you gotta put things in my head man
MELHOR FILME DA HISTÓRIA ❤

TUTTO IL RESTO LE CANZONI MI AGGREDISCONO
This movie is brilliant and quite erotic/romantic. I love those stories and movies. They made me think about it... x)
I rented this movie when it first hit DVD when I was 17. Exellent movie
Watched it with my sister and now we are expecting a beautiful baby boy. Life is beautiful 🌹
Wonderful!
What a perfect track for this trailer. I hope Boardwalk puts Michael Pitt in the spotlight, such a dynamic and extraordinary actor that has been overlooked for years....
i love this film so much
Lets watch it again!
Disturbing...but,Whoow: What a great movie! The atmosphere is stunning.
This one is now one of my favorites.
I really loved this movie !
Would have been nice if they would have followed the book! The sexual relationship between Theo and Mathew was dismissed in the film. Love the film but book is better!
Im glad Bertolucci left the "sex" (basically rape - it just so happens Matthew enjoys it, so I don't know what to really call it) between Matthew and Theo out of the movie. It's a bit extreme and would have complicated things, in my opinion.
Daniel Cox Theo was bi and the movie only hinted at it. Remember in the movie Theo said Mathew wasn't his type? Yes your right the sex games were extreme in the book but there was a scene in the film when Theo and Mathew were on the bed drunk and Theo was going to kiss him but his sister walked in and stopped him. The directors didn't want to explore the relationship between Theo and Mathew which was intense. The part where Theo had to forfeit was done to see if Mathew
was interested in Theo the way he was in his sister! He asked Mathew if was even a bit excited at what he had done to the poster.
I guess they wanted t keep an R rating. :)
God this "book is better" thing is getting so cliche. Every time there's an adaption of a book there has to be a smug douche to make this remark. Of course the book is always better, when you read you see your own adaptation in the movie you see someone else's adaptation of the book.
The directors left out the fact that Theo is bi-sexual and if they actually filmed everything that went on in the book it would be x rated. Everything is cliché after awhile but this film could have been better!
callum traynor Trying to decipher that punctuation-less comment is somewhat difficult. I mean, in the end, the book is the original story and the film is merely an interpretation. That's what happens when you adapt a book into a screenplay. The film, in my opinion, is perfect. The book is very good.
hes incredible in this, I fell in love with him.
Absolutely love this movie 💖💖
This is my favorite movie,is beatiful!
i loved this film. the trailer gives me the chills though :)
Thank you:)
Aaaaaaaaa I'm screaming, the guy from the French movie Le Chansons D'Amour ❤️❤️ l have to watch it
This is by far my favourite movie.
dat bathroom is sexy af
Beautiful people, music, setting, period
What a fantastic film.
thank god i listened to the comments because i was going to watch this with my mom
MICHAEL MY LOVE
i love love love this film
He's gorgeous.
I'm in love with this movie, it's unique.
A modern and sensual version of Jules et Jim! I simply love it!
This movie is one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen.
I really love this movie.
There's always been a special niche for movies (or books) about Americans in Paris:
1. Tropic of Cancer
2. A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries
3. Last Tango in Paris
4. Jefferson in Paris
5. The Dreamers
I'm sure I can find others. There's also LA LUNA which is about mother-son incest of an American family in Italy. All these stories involve sex. I guess Americans feel more "liberated" in France. I know I did the last time I was there!
That's a really masterpiece)l'atmosphère de la FRance est très magnifique )merci)
Omg this is where that aesthetic post of 3 people running down a museum is from??!! Damn.
Lol no
They recreate that shot but it is originally from another movie
Flor Olivera from what movie is this originally from?
@@murielmuriel bande a part (1964)
Yes, and Steve Martin recreated that scene, too, in LA STORY, on roller skates.
