I really like the suit to, it looks like the arkham knight suit and as much i like the classic fabric suit i also like the more armored suit as well
I really like the simplistic approach to the gear, and suit. We all gotta remember that this "detective" Batman so he would need to keep things simple, and fairly unrecognizable. We're so used to seeing Vigilante/Superhero, and his far-fetched incredible gear that we forget he's also the world's greatest detective. That requires a bit of stealth. Thank you, Mr. H. I really loved the video, and your body of work! I can't wait to see Black Fields.

Any stunt person on set could've pointed out how stupid this is which means that no one involved in this production is pointing out how stupid anything is. DC is pulling a DC again. Jared Leto used to be a respected actor. God knows what they're going to do to "Twilight".

If the film takes place early in Batman's career, like Year Zero, Wayne is learning how to be The Batman. The tech you see in the comics are a result of his experiences of what does and does not work.

When I say "Comic Accurate" I mean the Main Canon Batman, not the Elseworlds and One-Offs.
As Speeding Bullets is also a Comic Book, but I don't want to see that adapted to a movie, the same way I don't want Gotham by Gaslight or Bloodstorm, adapted as the Current Batman Series.

Why are they rebooting Batman again anyway? The Christian Bale Batman doesn't seem old at all. Hell, Bale could still play Batman and it would be great.
I like the suit. It just screams year zero. It looks really militaristic and rough it resembles exactly what it would look like early in his career.

The Batsuit and Batcycle/Batbike looks great thus far considering it's all pre-editting and a stunt suit
One thing to remember is Stunt suits and main suits are different made suits. Stunt suits are made with more mobility in mind and quite loose and janky always where the main suit is made to look good but very uncomfortable. Go check out the stunt suit from behind the scenes from BvS's warehouse scene and you'll know. This is not how the Batman will look.

It looks like they are taking inspiration from Batman Zero year!
After looking at these leaked images of Robert Pattinson’s stunt double in full Batman regalia, I can totally see not only the Batman Year Zero look but you can definitely see that they took major inspiration from Batman Noel drawn by the amazing Lee Bermejo. The way the armor chest plates look, the very tactical looking utility belt, the shape of the cowl, the loose fitting cargo style pants and the boots and gauntlets are all very reminiscent of the way Lee Bermejo draws his Batman. When the first test footage teaser video of Robert Pattinson was released, I was completely on the fence about the overall look of the Batsuit. Now that we have these images, I’m actually digging the style that Matt Reeves is going for. I hope we get some images of Pattinson in full costume cap and all where we can really dig in and digest all of the details of the Batsuit. I did read an interview where they stated that Bruce’s proto suit will get destroyed at some point in the film and that Bruce And Alfred end up creating a more streamlined version of the Batsuit. That revised 2.0 Batsuit is what I’m even more curious about. I can’t wait to see the first trailer for this film!

I love the suit. Its like a trials and tribulations suit if that makes sense. Wear and tear, I'm sure he'll discover vulnerabilities like he has a hard time moving or its too heavy etc. A slow progression into a better suit. I love what I'm seeing so far. I'm almost convinced the red theme in the teaser and "Batman" movie title is a hint of the red gotham night sky like in the animated series, which would be pretty badass if it happens😎
The suit looks good. Realistic, cobbled together, and built for combat. I just miss Ben, he was the best part of BvS.

I’m thinking the lack of cape is just cos of the crazy bad rain today. Maybe they just gonna add it by cgi later because weather conditions forbidding. Movies usually just edit out the weather if it’s not part of the scene, or make the weather more dramatic. Looks pretty cool, diggin they chosen locations so far to look more gothic. Robert Pattison probably elsewhere filming dialogue scenes. I doubt he’ll be spotted in Glasgow. Producers probably planning on keeping his interpretation under wraps for now.
There was talk of him not bulking up how they hoped so maybe he’s still training for the action scenes whilst stunt people doing those parts. He can still do all the scenes without the suit in the meantime.
Pattison not known for his action in movies so maybe still getting to grips with it. Christian Bales Batman set the action standard high so I expect they will keep that up, hard act to follow but set the benchmark for future movies
post production is your friend and I do like how it looks, it is supposed to be "carage suit" so it fits the theme

Also saw a pic really close and the Batlogo is actually a gun indeed.

PS I will admit that my views of Pattenson as an actor have changed a lot for the better. I still don't think he will be a good Batman though.
Man, the more I'm seeing of this movie the more I'm excited for it. Trying to resist even a hint of a spoiler but it's hard. Lol. I wonder if he's supposed to be chasing Catwoman in that shot. I like the military simplicity of the Batbike. He can stash that bike in the city without worrying about people noticing it too much.
Mr. H, I agree that it is more accurate to Year One but the cowl looks also like the Daredevil cowl. But in the end its the overall movie that counts. May it do well. Cheers.
Looks amazing, literally a blend of New 52 and Arkham Origins suit. The eyes obviously look like that so that they can be CGI white later

I'm liking the batsuit, including the cowl. The eyes make me think that we might get the white eye lenses on the cowl.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is the color scheme. I was hoping we would get the navy blue and grey batsuit instead of just plain black.

Tbh when I saw someone photoshop the promo pics of the suit into the classic blue and grey colours, I thought it looked better. What we're seeing here seems reasonably comic accurate, but I'm still fairly down on the film given everything else that we've learned of the film.

Nolan defined the franchise, but he didn't nail the franchise. He made an OK Batman movie, a fantastic Joker movie and finished with the worst Batman movie ever made. Which is a tragedy, because the worst one made made the most money.

The best thing I can say about BvS is it has the best fight scene in any live action Batman ever, has the first actor that really looks like he could be both Bruce & Batman and the script objectively isn't as generally stupid or insulting to him as The Dark Knight Rises.
Andrew187 no its not sad at all actually, tho u may believe it is I dont I think the Nolam films recreated Batman in a positive way Bale was both Bruce/Batman very well to the point that BatFleck even had the voice changer where Bale did it naturally...BvS was more Comicbook driven where Nolans Film where more reality driven....which paid big justice for the Nolan films...BvS was trash, DoomsDay was some huge godzilla looking freak, Batman n Superman had a mother named martha we were retold the origin of batman for a 100th time its loads of bs filler in BvS that one film in my opinion doesnt hold a candle to either of the Nolan films single handedly
@@HemiHendrixx BvS absolutely is trash, utterly insulting trash, but for all that people laud Nolan for being reality based, he has some of the most ludicrously unrealistic ideas I have seen, with the first one being Bruce not starting his training until he's fully grown. His idea of having Bruce get his gear from Lucius from rejected military hardware instead of inventing & building it himself isn't realism, it's farce. How many Wayne Tech employees worked on the Tumbler? How many military personnel were involved in the testing/review/rejection process & would recognise it instantly? It's utterly stupid & completely unrealistic. I did like his idea of the escaped criminals seeing him for the first time after sucking up Fear toxin. That worked. The second movie was a Joker movie featuring Batman. I enjoyed it up until the end, although Bale's overly forced growly voice made me burst out laughing when he was having a philosophical discussion with the Joker during the boat scene. "I belieeeeve in Gotham". Joker comes off as considered and rational, while Batman seems like the unhinged psychotic. Then Nolan did something at the very end that made Adam West Batman seem like a Solzhenitsyn novel. After Dent's death, he decides to take the blame for his murders to "save the city" because every single person will just die inside and be unable to function if they find out Harvey fell from Grace. That's both so stupid as to border on brain damaged, but there's not a single example in history of that ever happening anywhere. Quite the opposite. Then, where TDK is ruined by one abysmally idiotic creative decision, TDKR does nothing but lurch from one ridiculously contrived act of unfathomable and unrealistic idiocy to the next. My personal favourite is some low ranking policeman just walking up to the front door of billionaire recluse Bruce Wayne's mansion. Does the recluse have no security or ever lock the gate? Why wouldn't he get laughed at and ignored when he makes idiotic & meaningless threats to get in? Even if there's some reason why a bored Bruce might indulge it for entertainment purposes, what follows next is pure farce, not realism. "I know you're Batman". "No I'm not". "Don't lie. You came to my orphanage once when I was a kid. I saw it in your eyes". "Oh, in that case, fair enough. I'm Batman". Really? The on again/off again wheelchair. The fact that Bane sounded like current year Patrick Stewart mumbling through a blanket, the stupid way he loses his money, the idiotic way he gets his spine fixed, which apparently fixed his knees too. The way the cops get trapped. The way the only thing Batman wants to talk about with Selina when he comes back is not that she led him into a lethal ambush, but if she wants to date. The way the cops are released and seem to have access to toiletries the entire time and are fighting fit. The faking of his death. And dozens more. He goes from the "Hockey Pads" scene to the idea here that anyone can be the Bat if he gives them his resources. Every scene is just a celebration of idiocy. Worst. Batman. Movie. Ever.
Not sure about Robert Pattinson yet but then again i wasnt about Ben Affleck either now hes my favourite batman so gotta wait and see! Batsuit is also lookin kinda badass tbh

What I always wanted in a Batman live action film are the white eyes, and if you look closely to the stunt double's eyes, it looks like they may CGI the white eyes. If true then this'll be my favorite live action Batsuit.

I really like the look of the shoulder pauldrons- and on the vambraces (the forearm armour part of the gauntlets) those could just be a “prototype” he made of metal bars for protection against impacts to keep his forearms from breaking if he were to stop, say, a baseball bat with them. (I made something similar to go under my leather jacket back in the early 90’s, because as outcast goths, we got attacked by assholes- a lot- and they worked really well!)- of course, like you said, they could be various “Bat-tools”. Until he redesigns his armour/outfit even more to be something we’re more accustomed to. All in all, I’m pretty impressed so far with how good the leaked stuff looks- I was SO against Pattinson playing him, but he has surprised me quite a lot in the past couple of films he’s done. Fingers crossed! Thanks, Mr.H-

I like the raw mil vibe of the suit...looks very nice. As for the bike, nice and simple...not over-engineered. So tonally, they are going with something similar to the animated series?
