Jerry Springer certainly wasn't talented but he did end up being one of the most beloved contestants. He said his only goal was to last long enough on the show to learn the waltz so he could dance with his daughter at her wedding. The night he was eliminated he got choked up and was unable to speak. It was actually very touching
I love Jerry Springer as a person!!! His "Who Do You Think You Are?" is by far the most heartbreaking, emotional one ever made! His show I'm not a fan of (though in his earlier episodes, when it wasn't so wild, it was fairly entertaining), but he is a fantastic person.

I know right, he was partnered up with a 14 year old (no disrespect to Willow Shields, she was great), and they were one of the best pairs.

Something else Mark and Derek have in common is that they have developed the ability to make their partners look good. Derek became better at that over time but Mark always had it. Maks still isn't great at it which I think is why he had to wait so long to win the mirror ball, but at least he isn't making his partners cry any more. I'm still a little puzzled that none of the premiere partners are on this abbreviated athletes season. I'm not sure where they're taking DWTS. I love the show and have watched it since 2005.
Beth Cheesebrough He was eliminated week 3 in season 13 when he was exceptionally close to getting 9s from the judges.
Beth Cheesebrough no disrespect to Mark but even he's not immune to bad partners or partners who end up being threats to someone else. Yes I'm talking about you Sabrina.
You gotta give some of these guys credit for at least trying. Most of all, its not always about the scores, its about having fun and trying. Like Jerry wasn't good,but he tried and he had fun. Master P,Misha and Kate on the other hand, didn't try or have fun.
Luna L. Jerry Springer's reasoning for even doing the show makes my heart fuzzy. He just wanted to learn to dance for his daughters wedding, he didn't care if he won or not.

There's a difference in truly building a business and other businesses capitalizing on your name and offering you things to put your name on. What that whole family "does for a living" is take selfies and convince stupid people to pay for them.

I thought this was gonna be about contestants with bad attitudes. Cant blame non dancers and older people for not being the best dancers on the show. It takes courage to go on stage and do this stuff especially after a certain stage. Judges were brutal in the first seasons!!

The Master P season was supposed to be Romeo and he was standing in for his son because Romeo had an unexpected situation with a previous obligation.
The fact Kim was eliminated so early on back then shows that it was actually about the dancing. If she were to be on it now she would probably win the whole thing. Solely based on who she is.

Master P was a last minute replacement for his son Little Romeo (just Romeo now) who was scheduled to compete but had to withdraw due to injury. Romeo did finally join the show a few seasons later.
Really Tired 64 Yes, thanks 4 reminding me of that fact, BUT that STILL doesn't excuse his dancing "ability". If he can coordinate his b-ball prowlness, he can take that to the dance floor.
If I remember correctly, he rarely (if ever) showed up for rehearsals. While other people were busting their butts rehearsing something like 6 hours a day, he would rehearse for maybe an hour (when he actually showed up) and leave. I wondered why he even signed up.

But she wasn't awful. Her problem, and I remember her season very well, wasn't that she was bad. She didn't connect well chemistry wise but take into consideration that she wasn't a celebrity in the normal sense. Her dancing wasn't awful though.

Barbara Cochran was a joke. Her dancing left a lot to b e desired. She had the wrong attitude. These people are all from Dancing with the stars US. The record for low scores is a foreign DWTS, the guy had like a 4. The current season is a joke. Bloody hell the whole country can't watch the show since eliminations are live on the show so west coast watches clips on Facebook or Twitter. drmayeda1 That guy more than likely would have gotten a 15 here since while he barely danced in the routine, the times he did were halfway decent. I always thought that was a extremely harsh score considering how many dances foreign or not were way worse

There was one I remember my mom showing me -- her name was Sabrina, I think? I think her girl group was called The Cheetah Girls? Anyway, we were both shocked she didn't at least make it to the finals because we were sure she was a sure bet to win or be first runner-up.

I love Billy Ray Cyrus and his music, but yeah, a dancer he's not. I remember watching his last two weeks, both of which he was in the bottom two, and you can see him just waiting for his name to be called. He was actually disappointed when he survived the first of the two, LOL. XD At least he was a good sport about it.

I’m surprised Master P was invited on dancing with the stars but I’m more surprised he can’t dance.
Funny thing is that he wasn’t even supposed to be on in the first place, his son Romeo was supposed to compete that season but got injured prior to rehearsals and Master P took his place. Romeo came back ten seasons later and ended up being a pretty good dancer, he placed 6th.

Paula I'm glad she got a chance to go on the show though. Remember at one point fans of the show had put her on the list. Some did the show before we would have suggested them and others had to wait ten or more seasons. Paula deen was one of the long term request. Remember she was on the show partnered with another long term request but she was partnered with the one fans picked for her

Everyone who has competed in Dancing with the Stars are very brave to do this on live TV. Not their wheelhouse, but it takes a lot of guts for them to do something they never done before. Again on LIVE TV. But at least some had fun with it. I agree with several on the list. She got an honorable mention, but Wendy Williams should have been on the list. She proved that not all black people have rhythm. She had to be the most rhythm-less ever to appear on the show in my opinion.

The brother in law of the proffesional dancer who worked with master p was a Sunday school teacher of mine as a kid. She came to church after she got eliminated and it was interesting to hear the stories she told. Master p wasn't originally supposed to be in the line up, but someone backed out last minute so he jumped in.

The only thing that makes for “the worst” dancing, is a bad attitude, which we saw from a couple of these picks. But Steve Wozniak & Karina’s Samba, he had gone to the hospital bc he sprained his hamstring muscle. The Show gave him the choice to bow out and he declined. He danced, he did a worm and went across the floor on his knees! It was fun and he had a GREAT ATTITUDE! We never know what ppl’s stories are, we just see the lights, the camera and the action. Even the disastrous part was fun, and he laughed at himself! I loved it!😁

Me too just cuz I love her in Dirty Dancing. She was SO whiny though. She kept moaning about her neck. So ok, a bad injury but some of the athletes and a couple of the vets have it so much worse. And they didn't moan and whinge.

So... do Mojo and Ms. Mojo update their Top 10s when subject matter continues? I think it's pretty safe to say that for shows like DWTS, there have been couples that far surpassed who were in these original compilations in subsequent seasons.
