Actually, the guy should have dug just a little deeper into the "complaint" and the "whistleblower" before he provided it to the House. He should have asked why the guy talked to Adam Schiff BEFORE filing the complaint with only hearsay information.

There is a good reason for whistleblower statute.. it part of checks and balances for both sides of politics to use.. IG job was to determine if the complaint was credible and urgent that was his job. Trump firing the IG is really undermining institutions of checks and balances. The office presidency is also about being a good steward of that office and protecting those democratic institutions. Sure trump has the right to complain about the IG but firing was step too far.
