Obama, and I don't think any other President has refused to answer questions no matter how tough the question is. They weren't afraid to answer to their critics. It's easy to dismiss someone and say, "You're a nasty reporter, I'm not talking to you, next?" Anyone can do that. It's cowardly. Have the balls to answer, especially if you're the president. I am a resident of the small rural town in Georgia (Albany,GA) and the wife of a physician and I can tell you that the medical professionals here are hero’s!
They are working their tails off to care for our neighbors who have tested positive...our only hospital has converted an entire floor to an ICU.
What frustrates me are the reports and picture I’m seeing of (mostly young adults) crowding together in places that arnt necessary. Places like Lowe’s where people were packing with no masks or gloves.
I have an autoimmune disease and have been in isolation since the first week in March. That’s fine,but then I find out that 100’s of my neighbors are out and about and treating this like a vacation. At the rate we’re going this thing will cling to Albany for many months because we arnt cutting off its food supply.
If everyone would stay in (except to get food and medicine) this virus would die out without its food source....

As a New Zealander, not living in the USA, I am curious whether the American public are aware that the developing disaster in America, compared to most other countries in the world, is worse? Further, do they understand how disunited, disorganized and oblivious to science they seem? And just how badly the leadership of the country is failing? I heard the senator say the USA has the best scientists in the world. What evidence does she have to make that statement? I hate to say it, but this presumption of American exceptionalism is going to get a lot of people killed. To Americans reading this, I am not anti-American. But you truly are at times, a curious lot.
