Jeff Goldblum is my generation. Loved all his movies and get that he doesn’t really vibe with Jay-z lyrics. He is engaging ❤. Knew he was from “the burg” a lot of jazz greats originated here. I still enjoy his movies. His acting in “The Fly” bugged me out! Awesome! He is one of the greats from our generation. 💯

What a delightful character Jeff is! This was great! Although, I'm disappointed that neither his role as Freak #1 in Death Wish 1974 nor as Tony in Thank God it's Friday 1978 were referenced. Those two roles are as iconic as the roles discussed here. Even more so because they introduced us to a brand new Jeff. He has really stood the test of time. Good work Ari! 👏🏾

Hi Ari. You and Jeff share a good trait. Both of you keep getting better looking with age. You both remind me of my favorite actor----Gregory Peck. He was still handsome in his 80's.

Another way of saying "weirdness" is saying Goldblum doesn't hide his light under a bushel. Often, people who express their unadulterated thoughts and excitement in the moment are considered weird in our buttoned-up society.

I just recently saw an old film from the early 70s called Death Wish which I had seen when it came out, and there was a very young man playing a villain who I was surprised to note was Jeff Goldblum. I just laughed because Jeff is certainly not a negative character, and suddenly the whole film changed.

Sure there's the showy classics *Bodysnatchers, The Fly, Buckaroo, Jurassic, ID4* , yada - but it's the overlooked gems that forge Goldblum's legend.... *Mr Frost, The Tall Guy, Earth Girls Are Easy, T-65000, Deep Cover, Powder* ...an a great lead turn in *Spinning Boris* .
Everyone shud watch these films.
What an excellent series! Jeff Goldblum is a fascinating personality. And it's interesting to learn that he embraces the Hollywood approach to acting, amplification of personality. Which means that every time you see him on camera, he's in character--Jeff Goldblum.
in my opinion, jeff is the most unique and still most crafted actor in hollywood, yes there's some unique actors but they dont have the craft that jeff has, hes the elder statesman of individuality :)
There are thousands that have his craft because he owns an acting school. They just don't have his unique personality.
The Fly is his best film, love that film still holds up very well.
Jeff, is what a 70 year old man should look like!!!
