I began social distancing on Feb. 17: never left my home once. On March 27, I became severely ill, not with COVID-19: with acute abdominal distress (NOT appendicitis). For 5 days, I tried to weigh the risks between hospital and staying home, and on April 2, I called 911. I'm in the hospital, will be for an extended period, but I don't have COVID-19. I want people to know that sometimes the best choice isn't the one that you think it is. Practice all of the safety measures in place for this thing, but also know that hospitals will do everything in their power to isolate non COVID patients from those with the virus. Above all else, take care of yourself. ❤

I can give an example if you're not educated on the subject. Obama touted throughout his presidency that he was narrowing the wage gap between men and women. First off, there is no wage gap, it's a pay gap. Secondly the pay gap exists for reasons beyond misogyny, biological differences between the genders will ensure that the genders will never make the same.

I'm thinking of all the people who have to risk exposure because of the essential nature of their work, and if all they need me to do to help them stay alive is to stay home, that's an easy request to fill.
Stay home dedicate some time to yourself ,workout ,watch a movie,read a book ,do things that you haven't done before
I have been in prison so I have done all the things you are mentioning ,
but I always wanted to try sky diving . Closed due to corona .
Wanted to learn to dance . Closed due to corona .
Play What's My Name? Not possible due to corona .
Go to a trampoline park . well you guessed it , closed due to corona .
So I guess it's just my normal day routine that's left look at some news pappers from different countries , watch some videos on KRplus , Go out for a hike with my dog in nature (average 6 miles/day) and do some work in my garden .
The only difference for me is is don't go into town and other people do my shopping due to the fact that I have severe COPD and emphysema .
So my live hasn't changed all that much except that I don't let anyone in my house and meet friends outside with at least 2,5 meter between us . Take Care and Stay Well !

I recognized a few of these folks and already watch what clips of theirs I find on KRplus (no cable for me). It might have helped if those people I don't know had been better identified (larger font in captions) or, think of this!, information _under_ the video with names of people, shows, times... nah, too helpful...
And hold truth to power...Keep advocating. We need way more testing. Way MORE PPE , and WAY MORE VENTILATORS.
How about restricting interstate travel to only necessary goods and services.....and testing/screening those that need to perform such travel.....our actions thus far are like a sieve......which will allow this to continue to escape and spread through our flimsy net.Same should be done for all travel in and out of the country and between all states
@Lars Jones Hey....Thanks tons for the info.......think their gonna have to tighten it up if their really serious about containing this thing .......I know someone who has been delivering goods to 4-5 northern states regularly before the breakout and all of a sudden ALL the places he delivered to have broken out with COVID cases.....and he went home sick right before the lockdown .....he sounded horrible.....got better.....and now back doing his route.....but remains untested....he couldn't if he wanted to.....nothing available.....I'm staying locked down till there's a vaccine......stay healthy and be safe......and thanks again
