Eastman was a University Professor. Does anyone else think it might be necessary to go back to his former students and find out what the heck he was teaching them? The US can't afford another generation of lawyers who got their law degrees without understanding what ethics are.
Oh it gets worse… he was the Dean of the school! The poor students who have to list this school on their resume. I’m sure they are glued to the media coverage of his case and muttering “ I knew he was crazy back in the day… I don’t feel so bad about getting that B- on his paper any more!”
Disbarment is a good start but its certainly shouldn't be the end of it.
