The uk stopped doing the herd immunity strategy a long time ago, hence we have been in lockdown for more than two weeks. Also, the herd immunity may still turn out to be the best strategy in the long term.

Johnson went to hospital 9 days after symptoms started. The average time from corona virus patients to crash and need a ventilator is 8-9 days. Really bad sign here, I am not a fan but I do hope he recovers. Boris has joined the "bad outcome" territory of corona virus.

Err....no. The film certainly implied the bloke was in St. Thomas', but I think it was shot in a a disused hospital? In fact, I just googled it and it was partly shot in the old Central Middlesex Hospital in Acton and the actually disused Greenwich District Hospital on Woolwich Road. So there you go.

@@OriginalRaveParty no, not at all. We don't have presidential elections, we have parliamentary elections. The prime minister is the leader of the biggest party, we don't vote who we want to lead the country, but vote for a local candidate to represent us in parliament who usually belong to a party. Effectively turns into 650 mini elections for favourite party.
Whilst there would probably be another election if Boris dies it wouldn't be for at least 18 months for stability and more because the next PM would want their own political mandate, otherwise will be extremely difficult to keep the entire party behind them

I don’t wish death on anyone but this just shows what happens when you don’t take precautionary measures. He chose to ignore those measures and these are the consequences. Very sad and I hope everyone takes this as a lesson learned.

It is definitely not good to wish for someone to die. But feeling pity is an entirely different thing. Do I wish that someone drowns in their own lung fluid? No, definitely not. But at the same time, I remember that these are all very rich, very powerfull, completely inhumane politicians, who cause immeasurable suffering every day just to stay in power, and to whom the rest of us are simply a human ressource, votes and income generator, a herd that they feel no compassion for. At this very moment, over five thousand Latin American children are held separated, isolated and without basic medical care in detention camps across the USA. No journalists or lawyers are allowed in, so what about them? How many of them have been infected and has Trump provided them with masks and ventilators? Definitely not. Do I wish Trump, Johnson and the rest of them a painfull death? No, I do not. But do I have compassion for them and do I feel pity? No. No, I do not. And I never will. Johnson will get as many ventilators as he needs, and so will Trump, should he need one. Fine. Their lonely, desperate victims will suffer and die unnoticed, and no famous reporter will stand at a major news channel and inform the world that a little Julio, a little Maria, Jorge, Pilar, Domenico or Chavela have died - lonely, hungry, crying, terrified, calling for their mamá and papá, without medication, without a bed in the ICU and nurses to care for them, without even a pillow or a name on their tiny graves. No, I do not wish death on Boris & co, but I definitely won't cry one single tear if they died tomorrow. Because if they survive, they will be just as overprivileged, corrupt and inhumane as before. This pandemic, and all the rest that the world is going through now, is to a great extent the result of their work. So the breaking news may focus on them, but many a mother across the planet still thinks of those poor children, still is heartbroken for them and has not one tear to spare for the monsters who put them in those cages.
