I'm not crying, I swear. Thank you to every medical professional working the front lines to save lives while risking their own health and safety, to every police officer, firefighter, dispatch worker and those in related/similar fields for continuing to keep us safe and give us a sense of security in time so unsure, and thank you to all who have been deemed essential workers for keeping our gas stations running, our stores stocked and our factories going so everyone can have what they need to survive. Also thank you to every volunteer out there, from animal shelters to those handing meals out at schools to those helping to make supplies for citizens and hospitals and beyond - your sacrifices are not unnoticed and are truly appreciated. In these times, it is when communities must band together to help each other in the safest ways possible, from people complying with quarantine procedures to checking on elderly neighbors to helping bring food to a family who cannot get it themselves. Together we will weather this storm and uncertain times, together we will prevail against an unseen threat, here in the USA and across the world. May everyone be safe, stay healthy, and never lose hope.

I am a resident in a long term care facility in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I want to wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments expressed in this video. Every day I go out of my way to thank as many of the PSWs, RPNs and RNs here as well as all the support staff. We are so far CoViD free here, and they're going through an awful lot to make certain that it stays that way. I think that when this crisis is over there should be an international movement to officially recognise the sacrifices these brave men and women are making for those of us who are at risk.

I've had so many people ask, "How can we ever thank the doctors and nurses for your hard work?". That's easy! You can thank us by doing everything you can to not become a patient yourself! Stay home, and if you have to go out, cover your nose and mouth with a cloth or non-medical mask. (Sorry to sound selfish, but we need the N95s and surgical masks to protect ourselves, and provide safe care for our patients.)
If you need us, we're here to fight for your life, but we hope we won't have to. We're all in this together, and it'll take all of us, doing the right things, to get out of this mess, together!
Stay safe, stay healthy, and for the love of God, STAY HOME, Y'ALL! ✌️💜😷 That's all the thanks we need...

I'm not myself a health care worker, but this is the argument I use when people don't want to take this seriously.
If we all (I'm talking world wide, am a Norwegian living in Bolivia) had done this earlier, maybe with a little better guidance by smarter and more responsible leaders... then you all wouldn't be so totally overworked.
And there would likely be considerably less suffering and death.
You and your colleagues ARE heroes.
Everybody; stay as safe, strong, healthy, sane and and as much home as possible 😊💖⚡🌼💪

This is a great VIDEO. Thank you healthcare workers, but they are not the only essential workers. We're taking alot others for granted. If your cable , cellphone , gas , electric , grocery store etc.. employees don't work. Well, imagine no cable to keep up with world news and no internet , no cellphone service or data, What! ,
    You get the picture.
Let's hope those services don't go out.... Might sound foolish reading it, but look around you in your home, the fact that you still have access to KRplus via data or internet is something to be great full in this time...

Essential vs non-essential is crap. EVERYONE IS ESSENTIAL! Just another divisive attempt. Smh!
