Where are the station set ups for mass testing? Please Morning Joe, shine the light on lack of testing here in upstate New York! We are completely un-supported for testing! Insurance companies are not paying for getting treatment for Covid19.
Hospitals are "thrilled" to be where they are now? I have seen at least one post on Facebook from an individual who works at a regional hospital, begging for donations of rain ponchos and raincoats because they're running out of PPE. Hospitals in many states are running out of critical protective equipment. Believe me, they are most definitely NOT thrilled to be in that situation. The state I live in has had at least one substantial order of protective masks confiscated by the the port of New York. No one seems to know where this shipment has disappeared to or why it was even confiscated. It's a major reason why the Patriots owner helped the state get a large order of masks directly from China. Would be nice to see news networks investigating this. Shipments of 3,000,000 masks don't just disappear into thin air.

@@conniehahn4577 Pretty sure the governor of Massachusetts isn't lying. It appears the federal government confiscated the shipment. Why this was done, after states were being told they needed to obtain their own medical supplies, is anyone's guess. This waffling by the federal government about who should be ordering supplies needs to stop. FEMA should be the sole entity ordering and distributing needed supplies. This would eliminate unnecessary competition between states and should help ensure that the states needing equipment the most get what is needed to protect their critical staff. Trump in his idiocy is still telling states to obtain their own PPE, forcing them to compete with FEMA for orders. The federal government should also not be confiscating desperately needed supplies that states have gone to enormous amounts of effort to locate and procure for their health care systems.
Please note when using statistics from the VA , our numbers are as screwed as any as we had no access to tests.
This will never happen again. We learned so much about preparedness. This notion that that will never happen to us...is over!

If an online website for medical equipments shortages of the hospitals could be created and monitored real time, it would be very helpful to know who needs what and dispatched accordingly and asap.
