- Migrants waiting in Mexico to be processed to come across the border to the United States are subject to kidnapping and robbery by Mexican gangs. For an increasing number of women, that abuse also includes sexual violence. Everyday in Mexico 10 women are killed on average. That's according to the Mexican government's own statistics.
Here in the USA, it's no better. 70% of all femicides in high-income countries happen in our country. We also have work to do right by the females in the USA.

All States can implement existing deportation law.
President Eisenhower was deporting illegals in the 1950s.
Deportation laws don't change with new presidents or governors.
This is one of the reasons why I've opened my home to an undocumented family. I have faith that the kind and generous people representing team blue will step up and offer to house and financially support our newcomers, too. 💙💙

It is a constitutional protection for states. The only power grabbing is the federal government. I swear they need to take some constitutional law classes. If you are truly journalist you should know you are misrepresenting the facts with your bias. Agree it not too insinuate that Texas is doing anything but enforcing their right to govern at the state level. Federal does out rank state, but federal law is for the entire country. States are sectioned into smaller governments. Now consider, why is our federal government attacking our state and locale govt for saying enough is enough. When the whole country is feeling these effects everywhere. Crime, police officers and support agencies, medical help doctors nurses, giant layoffs to employ the much cheaper immigrant workers. Now that Democrats got that whole minimum wage law handled. How are those raises working out for y'all? If you are out of work, can you go get assistance?
