    Cannot those who have recovered take care of those currently infected. If they are immune,of course.
    Even if it's to provide food or deliveries or transportation.
    What happens if it mutates ,and returns in the fall ? Are we preparing for that yet?

    • @incipidsigninsetup
      @incipidsigninsetup 4 년 전

      It takes up to 3 weeks to recover from the virus and then healthcare workers need to be prioritized for testing and in some places testing can take a week. So you'd have your healthcare workers out of the workplace for up to a month. That's a time frame that is difficult to manage considering the rate at which they are becoming infected.
      As for a mutated virus strain, there's no way to prepare for that until the mutation takes place. It's actually more likely that a mutation would make the virus more manageable or even benign rather then more deadly.

    • @johnpoirier5626
      @johnpoirier5626 4 년 전 +1

      Braveheart It doesn't have to mutate, according to interviews with some of the top scientists. As did the virus of 1918, it may wane during the summer months and then resurface in the fall at full strength. In 1918, people abandoned safety measures for the most part as infections declined significantly over the summer and the flu claimed many millions of lives that autumn.

The other comment is correct, type O blood is somewhat protected, type A has more deaths, men die twice are frequently as women with same conditions.
