The Courts decision to reduce and prolong this case without any explanation is my biggest problem! That's a BIG RED FLAG for me, no pun intended! People should be asking why? Even Republicans should be asking why. With all of the delay going on and side stepping, even though a vast majority of American want to vote knowing after the resolve of some of these cases. It really doesn't look good for our Country! It's embarrassing!!!

That's a good question. As I understand it, the bond amount only puts a hold on collecting the judgement, while Trump appeals case. He can still appeal without a bond, but the AG starts the collection of the full amount of the judgement. If he were to win the appeal, he would not get any property sold back. He would reimbursed in cash.

Well let us just say that is what DJT told the Appellate Court that is all he could afford. What is the bet that the final disgorgement amount will end up at the $175M figure too. At the very least the American people deserve a full explanation so that they can determine what the appellate court justices deserve.

They get one chance on this in the even of default and then can pursue other judgement and orders on other assets to perfect the order. He has no choice now but to find the bond or can't appeal.

The verdict was not reduced, he's still on the hook for $464M+, it's the supersedeas bond that was reduced, in order to allow him to appeal. Given that the appellate court reduced it (for no good reason), it's likely that the verdict will be reduced as well, but that's future talk.
