As a health worker I would like to say Yes a mask is helpful but if you use one consider wearing glasses as well even if you don’t need them to see and one who does use glasses can tell you the dirt glasses collect will surprise you

we need open discussion on end of life treatments, uses of morphine, tell it like it is. Facts dispel some level of fear. Death , our thinking stops when we even just say the word. If you've been by the side of someone when they took their last breath, when the heart monitor flatlined, when you are told the person is in "final stages", then you have learned. We need media coverage on death. This is what I've been thinking the last couple of days.

There was a committee put together but was disbanded. We just need to reinstate it.

South Korea's pharmaceutical company has treatment medicine which has been treated before and no side effect. It showed a good treatment for coronavirus infected patients. Now they're going to use this medicine on human. If it works, SK will save lives for the world.

No one has more info and contacts and influence to get things done right more than Bill Gates. He should be put at the helm of establishing procedures for diagnosing and treatment protocols, and I'll bet he'd accept the challenge.

It is not the Federal government's responsibility. It is the Federal corporation's responsibility. The Constitution does not give the Federal government the power to do these things. When the states first demanded these things, the Constitutional government created a corporation, unhindered by Constitutional constraints to supply the requested needs. All the states have contracts with this corporation. This corporation should, in theory, answer to the Federal government in the same way as the Federal Reserve. Neither does so anymore and both have bought the majority of our politicians. This is why, when the corporation doesn't live up to its contractual obligations, the states are blocked by the Constitutional government from repudiating the contract. This corporation is, in fact, the largest monopoly in the world and the "laws" created to prevent monopolies are really the weapons it uses to prevent competition.

Why didn't Obama replenish the ventilators that got depleted during the course 2009 H1N1 after 2 congressmen suggested that he get on it right away, but he never did to this day? Why did China send defective ventilators to Australia and other countries that had to return to them?

You need a good government that works for the people not a corporation to do it for a profit, governments are acountable to the people who vote for them, corporations profit or not are only accountable to the bottom line.

i totally agree with Toms idea about bringing in Bill and Melinda Gates, frankly in my old country (England) we created specific roles for such people who have shown there ability to do and not just say. . its obvious tous all now, our true leaders have been in the wings the whole time and now its time for us all to decide how we should learn to live together again caring for each other, regardless of political persuasion, but with true unity we can show together, and leadership we can not only rely on, but trust in again and not fear it.

This is a natural disaster on a scale that is outside of living human memory for all of us. It's just a really slow moving disaster, but it will be the greatest loss of life in this country since WWII. Because we were focused on things that don't really matter.
