He denied it so much that he held his last rally with thousands of people crammed into a coliseum in Charlotte NC on March 2nd! Now he’s trying to say that he didn’t react late and that he knew it was a pandemic early on because he’s a genius about viruses since his uncle went to MIT. I am now out of work for a month the one nursing home I work in the conditions were so bad it went on the news. All of us nursing home workers everywhere pray there will be reform. I feel so sorry for my patience and the families. When it’s not a pandemic no one pays attention to the fact that the healthcare workers in these nursing homes are physically assaulted by patients that have dementia or alcohol withdrawal. It takes this national crisis to bring the light what we go through. Thank God it is also bringing to the light how unsafe the working conditions are and how sad it is for all the other patients and residents that did not have the virus but we have no way of protecting them.

nursing home is just not the right facility for corona virus. With symptoms, they should be transported. They need to be moved to a hospital with proper facility for this critical illness. Its not fair for the staff used to stable level of residents (most of them are total care already) and unfair for other residents who are put at risks with staff exposed no matter the ppe that tend to be insufficient especially in a nursing/rehab home.

I cannot believe people have been able to visit the elderly in these home. In Australia we had a case of one worker who retuned from an American holiday had caught the virus and she had passed to residents. That was in the end of January. Oh I forgot your president thinks it will go away soon.

Close to 90% of cases have been from cruise ships and returning travellers from America. We now have 4000 peop,e with the virus and 20 people have died. I think due to our Daly lockdown it has helped. Take care in Germany as I have heard it is tough. Stay safe stay home take care.

I had a close eye on Australian in late february/early march, because a relative of mine had travelled there before the situation went out of hand (he needed one week to make it back, but he managed on his own with some of the last flights), and Australia was shockingly careless imho, still allowing mass events when it was obvious that the virus was already spreading in-population. I am glad that you have finally proper lock-downs, but they came pretty late. New Zealand's response was more swift and on point if you ask me.

They won't allow the residents family members to come see them, but the staff gets to come and go as they please.
Our prisons are releasing prisoners to make room for employees family members so they can quarantine with them.
Our nuclear power plants are having their employees move in.
Personal protection equipment will not help the situation in nursing homes!
