It is a classic personality-disorder symptom of a narcissist suffering from paranoia that observers will uncover that he truly has no idea what to say or do next. We will, unless we're hung over, or misplaced our ballot, or we can't find a stamp. Of course, our best reason for staying home is that the horse we wanted to win was eliminated, and winning is all we are really motivated by. Neither of my candidates will be nominated, so why should I bother to vote? Maybe I'll vote for someone not even on the ballot - that'll show em they better pick my guy next time.
Hopefully, you've detected the sarcasm, but we do have a certain number that will expound all day about how evil Trump is, then create a false equivalency to justify not voting against him.

Trump's polling hasn't really changed, but polls can't take responders who claim to be voters - but aren't - into account.
There is no reason to think that Trump will motivate voters any more than last time around.
Clinton lost because black voters did not turn out for her the way they did for Obama.
Why is a separate discussion for which I am not qualified.
But indications are that a combination of favorability toward Biden and a loathing of Trump, along with key endorsements from highly regarded black legislators is bringing turnout to record levels.
So it looks like we'll be rid of him in January, maybe a bit earlier if he flees the country after the election.
