(i haven't played XIV in a while) on Nocts case it's more than just hacks tho for example XIII "gods" aren't very into displays of strength power most are just mechanical beings that are incredibly strong but i personally don't view as above as the XV ones (it should have been the case when XV was gonna be Versus XIII but that idea didn't end up being cannon) as for the actual feats Titan from XV catches a meteor and stopped it mid fall and carried it with him on his back for milenia no issues and with the blade of the Mystic Noctis can parry and repel attacks from that Titan and remember that's just kid pre True King Noctis and then there is the Alterna working on XV's Adamantoise (a being older than the XV world itself so a being who lives as long as worlds got killed by one hit of Alterna) situation sure they are haxs but they're incredibly powerful ones I'm not claiming that Noctis is overall stronger than Redeemer Lightning should be by XIII-LR but people at times pretend like she's on another level to other "top tier" protagonists or something wich isn't the case imo since most of them did everything mostly by themselves but again Bhunivelze Lightning got the most help out of the top tier and since L-Cie can harm Bhunivelze imo Light wasn't really all that much above the other XIII cast although she truly was divine by then but considering how Ardyn could do broken stuff like corrupting and turning "gods" into slaves in XV its not that crazy to think that true king Noctis who faced Ardyn on a 1V1 isn't kinda close to that level on some ways too especially his final attack wich can kill virtually inmortal beings and destroy their inmortal souls perpetually wich is an "immortality" tier that the non Bhunivelze or Caius Ballard XIII "gods" or other characters lack and remember Lightning didn't "defeated" Bhunivelze on her own (and it was Caius who did the most in the end) and she actually lost to Caius once too because she couldn't kill him Ardyn's immortality is similar to Caius' immortality although both have different sources of course and therefore aren't exactly the same thing but what i mean by that is that they are both virtually unkillable yet true king Noct did manage to kill Ardyn (albeit at the cost of his life) Light on the other hand failed at doing this on both XIII-2 against Caius and on XIII-LR against Bhunivelze (who granted is much stronger than Ardyn) in the end this is redundant but kinda makes my point clear these hax should definitely be capable of killing Light imo even if she is Etro's successor
And he didn’t actually need to fight 3 of his summons ramuh, shiva, and the good version of garuda pulled up to him willingly giving him their power because lets be honest they some real ones for sure

He has alaways been underated and now some are even claiming that the XVI verse is above the XV verse wich isnt the case XVI Bahamut is said to be able to *burn* the world with his absolute strongest attack meanwhile FFXV Bahamut was gonna *destroy* the world on dawn of the future and Ultima also could not do this not even if he had possesed Clive since Clive was not really the perfect logos he wanted and ultimately his body died to a much smaller scale spell

In my opinion Warrior Of Light may be strong asf, but beings/characters like Noctis and Lightning are in another far dimensional level of power. Warrior Of Light is probably universal level at best, but Noctis is definitely multiversal and Lightning is definitely high outerversal. She's definitely up there with Dante, Vergil, Wukong, Doomslayer, and Kratos in terms of overall power.
I think by the end of ffxvi Clive is number 1 or 2 he has absorbed what 7 god like entities into himself and being able to transform into a kajiuu monster

I mean, he didn't specify that they were ranked by strength. Cloud is definitely alot stronger by the end of VII. But although it was an optional fight that might not even be canon, Zack DID duel Minerva, the goddess of the planet who can mess with the lifestream.

I agree, but it is also worth remembering cloud only managed to do this thanks to the jenova cells. Because of mako zack's cells were not pure, this limits him to human capabilities.
@@TFJ77 cloud naturally had Body like sephiroth which means S class cells and it was proved when sephiroth stabbed cloud when he was just an operator soldier but nevertheless he lifted sephiroth instead by grabbing his katana which was stabbed in him and threw sephiroth in the depths of jenova and cloud didn’t die and even when he was suffering shinra started experiments on his body and when Mako was finally fused with him, his mind broke but got the powers.Now in ff7 rebirth they will most likely show how cloud gets fixed.that’s why when he became a soldier he was stronger and faster than Zack naturally and in ff advent children cloud became many times stronger as he created his new fighting style with new skills and new power.

Terra is such a diva I'm so glad she still remains between the most powerful main characters and the fact that she is not an average swordfighter like she focuses so much on spells and has her elven esper form to use any spell, she will always be the IT girl for me.
Zack is a really strong character let's pray he stays alive in rebirth and gets the happy ending this time around not shot in the head outside of midgar😢 maybe we'll get lucky get to see a rematch between Zack and Genesis or Zack and sephiroth that would be peak ff7 remake stuff or just run into Avalanche and see the present-day cloud
Cause some one have a fight with so much People at the same time and still protect Cloud. But at the end of FF7 is Cloud stronger than Zack. Maybe because projekt G and Cloud are an other master piece besides of Sephiroth.

I think Yuna would be higher especially if you consider the fact that she could use very strong white magic on her summons if she was allowed to heal them in the game and she could technically use double cast black magic which was kinda OP in most of the game.

The FF1 WOL quite literally beat time and space, and is the originator of pretty much every single spell in the series, and he did ALL of that by himself. He should at least be top 3, let alone at 2, because the 14 WOL beats that guy.

actually FFIV has the strongest cast after a power up :) The FFIV protagonists in the Afteryears sequel defeated The Creator the only actually universal being on the villains list of FF he actually created either the FF universe and all life in that verse PLUS quite possibly other FF universes as well
Terra is OP because she can learn every spell in the game and equip most of the best armor and weapons. You spam ultima and auto-life by the end game. FFX characters are strong for the same reason
Probably because people don’t want to spoil the game Clive is definitely up there though haven’t beat the game yet but he’s at least top 3. In his ifrit form he’s incredibly strong and fast as well as extremely durable having run a couple miles in seconds he clashed against probably the strongest incarnation of Titan ( for a size comparison think Kratos vs Kronos from god of war in size) and shrugged off a direct blow. In his human form he’s an incredibly skilled swordsman able to channel all the eikons powers including their strongest attacks such as gigaflare diamond dust etc. He’s also taken a direct hit from Odin twice so far the first time going down the second he was still standing and at this point Odin flat out said he hadn’t reached his full potential and that at his strongest Odin wouldn’t be a mach for him who for a power scaling reference split the sea with a single swing of his sword all the way to the sea bed and it stayed parted until Odin decided to let it fall. Clive also has a second form which combines the power of Ifrit with the power of phoenix to create Ifrit Risen whos faster than light and was clashing with Bahamut who at the time ate one of the crystals an unlimited source of power making him strong enough to destroy the world in one hit and also faster than light. Even if Clive isn’t stronger than them he’d still be a tough opponent leaving them heavily injured. ( I’ll update this later after I beat the game )

Lightning is basically the goddess of life and death by the end of the 13 trilogy. The 13 series ends with her slaying all other gods and chaos entities and creating a new realm.... yeah i think she takes this one.
i think Cloud is the strongest why? when Sephiroth cast Super Nova that skills is from different Galaxy that destroy solar system and the sun, Cloud can manage to survive.

@noctiz31 did you play the game? (FFXIV SPOILERS) Ultima is the creator of the whole world (valisthea) and everything that lives in it. Magic and eikons are the remnanants of ultima after he abandoned his creation. He is LITERALLY god, and the power that clive uses to kill him, came from ultima. He can shapeshift, teleport, produce an assload of magic of any element including one unique to him, and in his fight he literally casts away the world and you fight him in a pocket dimension floating in space. He created clive and orchestrated events for clive and others to compel clive to consume eikons using ifrit so he can used the re-concentrated power of his remnants in valisthea to re-make the world. The whole plot of the game is ultimas doing. He is, in every way and by every metric, God. He and everyone else refers to him as such and he has the destructive power to back it up in the fight.
I haven't played many ff games but if we're talking about a fight between characters at their strongest regardless of story context then I think Clive could actually take almost all of them on (i know lightning is stronger) because at the end of the game with all the power he has accumulated with Ultimas power on top he became capable of altering reality so he could literally just erase his enemies from existence (which seems kind of arbitrary as opposed to just stopping time and using all of his strongest powers like Gigaflare or Zantetsuken)
I followed FF series for a while and I can guarantee you that Lightning is number 1 (as much as I hate FF13). Clive is in the top 5 but it's hard to rank between Noctis FF15, Clive FF16, Terra FF6 and Warrior of Light FF14. They all have their own broken af abilities or insane feats. But just personal opinion it be like this. 1. Lightning 2. Noctis 3. Clive 4. WoL 5. Terra 6. Everyone else

They dont only a handful of FF fans have actually played all the games to know and judging from the comments there are few of them here but its usually the ones who arent being absolutist about who wins since most of the top tier FF verses are relative (the strongest verse isnt tho since its fucking broken)
The issue with this kind of ranking is that its arbitrary power scaling at best and a popularity contest at worst. Like, if Zack is considered strong enough to be number 3 because he defeated a god-like entity in a side quest (so its not even canon), then he has no business being gunned down by regular old Shinra soldiers, and yet he does. It's the classic confounding of gameplay mechanics with actual meaningful story feats.
Squall is an ordinary human, but I do think there is something to be said about his strength (or at least his skill) for being able to defeat arguably the most or one of the most overpowered villains in the series regardless of his mortality.
Clearly a dmc fan that only played 16, impressed by flashy graphics that doesn't know 15 other final fantasy mainline games exist. Lightning is so ridiculously ahead of everyone and anyone who doesn't know clearly doesn't know the franchise.

he did not even get close to manhandled that was cloud at the end where he was op cloud could not take down a sephiroth clone like he did before because before he had 4 others and more to kill sephiroth but alone he killed a clone that was on baby mode because he could have killed cloud whenever in advent children and remember this is clouds peak and he got bodied by sephiroth and it was zack to help cloud take sephiroth (clone) down which if you are saying he got manhandled you have not played the game because he was not trying to kill sephiroth meanwhile sephiroth was trying to kill him and sephiroth could not kill him 2 times and was using full power and full strength and had to flee from the fight and even then zack took a army of soldiers and still killed a ton after the fight protecting cloud which if he did not he would be alive and cloud dead

XI's character is the strongest, because they actually have two jobs. Example, they can be a WAR/SAM (Warrior & Samurai). They can also use magic which allows them to summon characters outside of the standard summons. This how they are able to defeat the Cloud of Darkness by themselves.
clive destroys all these easily, his toughest opponent will be noctis at least, but clive is fucking mythos he is literally the most op and strongest final fantasy protagonist

Ardyn's immortality is similar to Caius' immortality although both have different sources of course and therefore aren't exactly the same thing but what i mean by that is that they are both virtually unkillable yet true king Noct did manage to kill Ardyn (albeit at the cost of his life)
Light on the other hand failed at doing this on both XIII-2 against Caius and on XIII-LR against Bhunivelze (who granted is much stronger than Ardyn)

In my opinion Warrior Of Light may be strong asf, but beings/characters like Noctis and Lightning are in another far dimensional level of power. Warrior Of Light is probably universal level at best, but Noctis is definitely multiversal and Lightning is definitely high outerversal. She's definitely up there with Dante, Vergil, Wukong, Doomslayer, and Kratos in terms of overall power.

Probably because people don’t want to spoil the game Clive is definitely up there though haven’t beat the game yet but he’s at least top 3. In his ifrit form he’s incredibly strong and fast as well as extremely durable having run a couple miles in seconds he clashed against probably the strongest incarnation of Titan ( for a size comparison think Kratos vs Kronos from god of war in size) and shrugged off a direct blow. In his human form he’s an incredibly skilled swordsman able to channel all the eikons powers including their strongest attacks such as gigaflare diamond dust etc. He’s also taken a direct hit from Odin twice so far the first time going down the second he was still standing and at this point Odin flat out said he hadn’t reached his full potential and that at his strongest Odin wouldn’t be a mach for him who for a power scaling reference split the sea with a single swing of his sword all the way to the sea bed and it stayed parted until Odin decided to let it fall. Clive also has a second form which combines the power of Ifrit with the power of phoenix to create Ifrit Risen whos faster than light and was clashing with Bahamut who at the time ate one of the crystals an unlimited source of power making him strong enough to destroy the world in one hit and also faster than light. Even if Clive isn’t stronger than them he’d still be a tough opponent leaving them heavily injured. ( I’ll update this later after I beat the game )

Magic and eikons are the remnanants of ultima after he abandoned his creation. He is LITERALLY god, and the power that clive uses to kill him, came from ultima. He can shapeshift, teleport, produce an assload of magic of any element including one unique to him, and in his fight he literally casts away the world and you fight him in a pocket dimension floating in space. He created clive and orchestrated events for clive and others to compel clive to consume eikons using ifrit so he can used the re-concentrated power of his remnants in valisthea to re-make the world. The whole plot of the game is ultimas doing. He is, in every way and by every metric, God. He and everyone else refers to him as such and he has the destructive power to back it up in the fight.

I haven't played many ff games but if we're talking about a fight between characters at their strongest regardless of story context then I think Clive could actually take almost all of them on (i know lightning is stronger) because at the end of the game with all the power he has accumulated with Ultimas power on top he became capable of altering reality so he could literally just erase his enemies from existence (which seems kind of arbitrary as opposed to just stopping time and using all of his strongest powers like Gigaflare or Zantetsuken)

The issue with this kind of ranking is that its arbitrary power scaling at best and a popularity contest at worst.
Like, if Zack is considered strong enough to be number 3 because he defeated a god-like entity in a side quest (so its not even canon), then he has no business being gunned down by regular old Shinra soldiers, and yet he does. Squall is an ordinary human, but I do think there is something to be said about his strength (or at least his skill) for being able to defeat arguably the most or one of the most overpowered villains in the series regardless of his mortality.

And said God literally assigned lightning as the goddess of death, and as the goddess of death, lightning killed the God. Saved all yhe soles in the world and carried them all to a new world. And all Clive did was kill a God, then die.

he did not even get close to manhandled that was cloud at the end where he was op cloud could not take down a sephiroth clone like he did before because before he had 4 others and more to kill sephiroth but alone he killed a clone that was on baby mode because he could have killed cloud whenever in advent children and remember this is clouds peak and he got bodied by sephiroth and it was zack to help cloud take sephiroth (clone) down which if you are saying he got manhandled you have not played the game because he was not trying to kill sephiroth meanwhile sephiroth was trying to kill him and sephiroth could not kill him 2 times and was using full power and full strength and had to flee from the fight and even then zack took a army of soldiers and still killed a ton after the fight protecting cloud which if he did not he would be alive and cloud dead

XI's character is the strongest, because they actually have two jobs. Example, they can be a WAR/SAM (Warrior & Samurai).
They can also use magic which allows them to summon characters outside of the standard summons. This how they are able to defeat the Cloud of Darkness by themselves.
Only new gen fans say Clive I’m sorry but we all know lightning stay number 1 unless we count ff14 main protagonist
