It’s well arranged, good drumming, good lyrics. Don’t think enough time has passed to put it in a list of one of the best. If it’s still relevant in 40 or 45 years; for sure.
Everything about this music are perfect, the melody, the instrument, thr vocal, and the lyrics
is a track about “the risen, the broken, and the damned”, people who have experienced hardship or adversity in life but eventually fight through it and make it out on the other side. The black parade in this song refers to the parade of people who have gone through suffering and have come out the other side stronger and wiser. The chorus repeats the idea of carrying on and carrying through the fears, even when it might seem impossible. The song encourages the listener to stay strong and keep fighting, even when things seem bleak. It is a song about hope, resilience, and courage in the face of adversity.

It is actually about death. The black parade is made out of dead people. And Gerard has expressed his beliefs that when you die, you remember a childhood memory so it explains the patient remembering this parade his dad took him to. The carry on part is about carrying on the memories and legacy of one's death

This has to be one of my favorite performances of WTTBP. The vocals and instrumentals are as flawless as any performances I’ve seen so far, and the crowd is super powerful, and that confetti, and uhhhh it’s amazing.

It hurts me so much that I never got to know them back when they were still a band. God, I was 5 years old during this concert. I did listen to music, but it wasn't this type.
Now, I discover them, one/two month(s) ago, FOUR YEARS late. And you know what's fucked up?
This band has touched my heart more than anything in my life.
So yeah. I can't carry on. But at least I can enjoy the fact that this band...idea...whatever, actually EXISTED before, and I was alive during that time. I'm honored to be born and know about this amazing band.
They might not have a reunion, but hey. At least they once were a band, and this idea of theirs is the one that will carry on. They're all enjoying their lives, we're enjoying the music that they have made, and that's the best thing anyone could ever ask for.
I can relate to this on a personal level, it's not even funny. I understand your pain, Killjoy. But what's so great about this band is that it influenced so many other bands and when we go searching for some new music, we'll find them. And we'll be glad that we did. Hell, others might even START a band because of them, so don't be sad that they're gone. Be happy because of what they gave us and how many hearts that they've touched.

This band has gotten me through a lot and I’m so sad that Gerard is 41 now. It’s so unlikely they’ll get back together. I found them a couple months ago and I love them so much. Being a killjoy in 2018 is hard but we have to stick together and we have to try to carry on without them
