idk i don't really think it does.. this song is in Gm, & ghost of you is in Bm... the only real similarity is that they start on a solid clean guitar intro, then a simplified melody of distorted power chords for the chorus, but that's describing like half of their discography / songs in general right there lol. i do like both songs too, though.

I see a lot of comments about how this first demo sounds nothing like the song but more like another song. This kind of just leaves me to believe since this song was released before most of the other songs people have been talking about that maybe they had been held onto as scrap ideas that were eventually used somewhere else.
