The Amazon Fire HD 10 is a fantastic tablet if you want to spend as little money as possible. It's the cheapest 10-inch tablet I can comfortably recommend. With that being said, you need to install the Google Play Store yourself and have to live with Amazon's advertising. The tablet offers a great performance, screen and battery life for its price. You can play games like Call of Duty and PUBG Mobile, but also Asphalt 9.

It's an excellent tablet, especially after downloading the Google Play Store.
Chopper G is it like a normal tablet since it’s like basically Alexa
And disabling the fire launcher after you sideload nova launcher
You can sort of test multi screen if you install vanced it has LIP
Also pretty sure this is using a mediatec processor
Got it on sale on BF for 100 plus another $50 off for applying for a target charge plus another $5 coupon
So $45 not bad
@@andreamitchell4758 Amazon is a good computer for the price however its most enjoyed by more advanced user whom had android or windows tablet in the past because otherwise its hard to explain amazon os modifications without making it sound like a advanced hacking.

Another point worth consideration is that Amazon updates it's tablets for much longer than ANY other Android OEM on the market. I have a Kindle fire he 8 (2016) version, which recently saw an OS update last month.

My old LG G Pad 7.0 is failing fast, the screen is separating from the body. I have been keeping an eye on the Fire HD 10 price and today it has dropped to $109.99 I picked it up and am here checking it out in a bit of anticipation. I only wanted a tablet for KRplus, Netflix, Prime video and some light web surfing. This thing looks amazing for the price i paid and can't wait to get my hands on it and get the google play store up and running.
Great review. Unfortunately, this tablet is not yet sold in Italy (unlike the Fire 7 and HD 8). Show mode and Alexa hands free seem useful features.

Hello. The huawie T5 does have better performance, faster proccessor and so on BUT game apps will not move or transfer onto the sd card. So you will fill up your internal memory very quickly. It was a dumb move by Huawie essentially losing lots of sales. I would get one but will not because of this. The next best option is the Lenovo 4 Plus 10 inch device. It has snap dragon 526 in it

Truly excellent though this review is there is a point that you and most everyone else misses out on for some reason. Although the Fire theoretically has Atmos installed, it does not unlike the Samsung possess the Dolby Atmos feature which is installed by default on most current Samsung devices (including so I understand the Tab a 10.1 (2019)) allowing access to a plethora of options for controlling sound. With headphones, both Bluetooth and wired, I have found that this makes a tremendous difference to the sound quality. Leastways, it does on Samsung phones. I bought a Fire HD 10 the other day and have found that the sound via headphones is just too quiet. One can get around this by installing an app that allows the boosting of volume, but that distorts sound quite badly. Consequently, I'm going to buy the Samsung 10.1 and probably return the Fire to Amazon. Incidentally, I paid only £80 for the Fire tablet (I got an additional £15 discount on top of the current sale price of £94.99). I can buy the Samsung at John Lewis for £149).
My usual tablets are an iPad 9.7 Pro and a 10.5 Pro both of which were bought in sales at John Lewis. Switching to Samsung phones has given me a taste for Android and hence my purchases above (I bought the Fire because I am a Prime member and have very extensive Kindle and Audible libraries; I do not stream music preferring to buy and then rip CDs to lossless). I would not pay the current prices for iPad Pros and when the time comes to replace them I'm going to move across to Samsung completely.
But, once again, I really did enjoy this review. You always do such an excellent and professional job in putting together these things.

How is the video calling on this tablet? more specific can the other person see your face on screen or is it dark and invisible? how does video calling compare to Samsung tab a or an ipad 10.2?
I have 2019 tablet. Feel like the volume goes low. Don't know if it's because of the sd card.

Fire 10 have a better GPU and CPU than the Samsung, as well as .5 more GBs ram ( 2 vs 1.5)

I bought this tablet I have the Samsung A 7. And it had a defect in the screen and then I bought the S6 light and it had yellow bleed through I just gave up I had an iPad to that had a dead pixel so I got this tablet and I think the screen is as good as the Samsung S light. So I’m really happy and I got it very very cheap

This good size for reading?
I need this for college. Reading books, writing on tablet with a stylus, taking notes and dealing with assignments and pdf files will be my thing. Should I purchase this tablet?
It should be fine for everything you listed except for writing with a stylus. It does not support an active pen. You can use pens for capacitive screens but they’re not very accurate.

I think an ereader is a better option for reading only. I have the Kindle Paperwhite and absolutely love it!
I'm tempted to buy amazon tablets over any . Amazon just gets it. Tablets are for media consumption. No way any tablet should cost more then $300 ( Samsung or apple ) .

I have the 2017 Version and really think there is zero reason to upgrade. Spec's are pretty close. Wish you could remove all the Bloatware that comes with Fire 10 HD.
I was worried about replacing my high-end older oasis with this one krplus.net/upostUgkxCgPI5O2AtmcHq9SJhgsCGbpAzJAJfrJp but it is surprisingly light and the screen resolution is just as good. I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!

The graphics performance is a bit better but not that much... The next best tablets where you certainly will see a difference are the Apple iPad 7 or Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e.

If you have an android tablet you can make the gaming performance better by going to the developer mode where you turn the animations down but watch a video before you do something to your tablet.

Moinsen zusammen, ich habe vor 2 Tagen das Amazon fire HD 10 Tablet erhalten und mich so richtig darauf gefreut, weil ich als freier SV für ein Unternehmen tätig bin, was Gutachten mittels APP von mir haben möchte. Leider bin heute den ganzen Tag suchend auf keinen einzigen Tipp gekommen, wie ich auf dem neuen Tablet die Einstellung "Fremde Apps zulassen" aktivieren kann. Der Umschalter ist auf dieser Version nicht vorhanden. Wer kann mir helfen? Ich habe dieses Tablet nur für diesen Auftraggeber zugelegt. (Bin echt am Verzweifeln) 99,00 € hin oder her. Der Google Play Store wird zwar nach meinen ganzen Installationsversuchen auf dem Display abgezeigt, öffnet aber nicht. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilfe!

I got it it's perfect unless your playing heavy games. Unless you want a fancier tablet and spend a bit more money the choice is yours . I'd get this one. I got it on sale for black Friday super worth it

Do you have a review of the Lenovo 4 Plus 10 that I could view. Want one for gaming, however seems to be more then one model of the 4 plus 10 and not only that ordered one from Amazon and sent it back as the model number didnt match any known models of it. It was a Mototab they sent me instead with nearly all same specs but I was not trusting of it

ZacKaLy I have no idea. Maybe Christmas time 2020. If amazon going to bring a newer version of amazon fire 10 in 2021 as every 2 years a newer version comes out - just like fire 8 . Amazon might want to sell as many of the fire 10 before any other newer version comes out 2021

When you buy them from amazon, there are two options. "With Special Offers", and "Without Special Offers". The first one is cheaper, but that is because it has ads on the lock screen. Overall, no, there is no way to do it.
Call and complain saying you didn't know it had ads. Either they'll remove them for free, or give you the option to pay 15 dollars to remove them.

People saying oh you can just sideload Google play and download all the apps you want. Yes you can do this although there is lots of stuff on Google play that's not supported with the fire tab. So it'll let you download the app but if it's not supported the app will not open or work. This is something I didn't know before buying it and now just a little dissapointed.
True....but you can still sideload incompatible apps directly and they will work. I've downloded an apk editor and have been able get all apps to work.

Ok, so I just bought it and for some reason the screen keeps turning black all in its own. Every ten or five seconds.it's very annoying.
That shouldn't happen. I would report the problem with Amazon and send it back/ask for a new one.
My husband and I just bought of them. My is fine but my husband's tablet is draining the battery life wayyyyy too fast. He is ready to junk it if he cant figure it out. Please help thanks

He got it in blue so it would look more expensive? No! Getting a tablet with any color other than black, white, or silver, makes it look like a children's tablet.
You say that Fire HD10 is better in a few aspects than Samsung Tab A, then say you reccomend buying the Tab A if theyre similar price? Doesnt make sense because you didnt say why Tab A is better.

Its plays call of duty mobile regular death match on high but it can't handle battle royale so don't expect to be able to play battle royale mode

Bought these for my kids and played around with them for a bit. Of course you can easily put the play store on this as no one wants to download apps from Amazon. Using third party launchers os harder than it used to be and just not worth the hassle. The APK hijacker that allows you to use third party launchers is not working well as the latest update to fire launcher stops that from working. Way too much amazon stuff on these and you can't hide it. Spend £30 more and get a Huawei mediapad TS instead. Way better!

Amazon fire is very easy to use, especially for the battery life. It's really good for 24 hours to used. I really like it!!!

I Have This Tablet, I Got It For Christmas. It's Pretty Great And All, But I Am Pretty Upset About One Thing. Let Me Explain. So, I Have Been Learning Korean For A Few Years Now, And Had A Korean Keyboard Set As My Alternate Keyboard On My Last Tablet. However, This Tablet Does Not Have The Korean Language For Some Reason.. I Checked The Language And Keyboard Options Over And Over So Many Times, And Never Found It. So I Just Came To The Conclusion That It Does Not Have This Language, Which Is Pretty Disappointing To Me..

Tablet is great should b considering its actually a Asus rebuild . Tablet sucks because it has no customization what so ever and has more ads than you tube does . I like having a clean tablet the fire hd 10 is messy and full of ads you can't get rid of . sorry but I would NOT recommend this tablet

I had 2 amazons for less than a year and they BOTH pooped out and would not run games,well they would but it was VERY VERY laggy. So if ur a mobile gamer (like me) you should just get the ipad lasts way longer and can run games smoothly like Fortnite,CoDM,and PUBG with mybe 60fps depending what device you have. Thats why i say amazon sucks.
