I had a very hectic and busy week on one weekday.
That weekend I did the laundry, put away the winter futon, cooked some home-cooked Japanese food, and organized my closet for summer.
Then I went outside to breathe the summer air.

Nami on a day off holiday: cleans kitchen, goes for a walk, makes lunch, reorganises wardrobe,does laundry, takes clothes to charity, does meal prep for the week.
ME on a day off: gets up eventually, has coffee and cereal, watches KRplus, snacks all day on bread and biscuits, has a takeaway...gots to bed!

I really needed this today. A lot of negative has entered my life and my KRplus feed so it's nice watching something positive that helps center me. The "don't recommend channel" option doesn't work. It’s important that we create small rituals and activities that we do alone or with our pets. They make us understand that we can live alone by ourselves just as fine .

What a lovely thing to write and so true. I know it's a year late but these types of videos helped get out of a mild depression (due to grief and a chronic disease diagnosis) and just take care of the space I live in for myself.. because I can have nice things for myself...it doesn't have to be for anyone else...just a calm meditative environment for me by me. This small reframing in my brain has helped me become more active, look forward to getting out of bed in the morning, and feel more like myself every day.

I love 'nice cream'! I freeze my bananas first and then blend them with cacao powder and peanut butter. Blending them after being frozen gives it a 'Mr Whippy' ice cream texture 😍 Also you don't need to lose weight for any item of clothing. Clothes should fit us, we don't need to fit the clothes 💕

I've never had luck with avocado seeds preventing browning. The best bet is to press the wrap down gently til it touches the surface and store it that way. Air causes the discoloring, it's oxidation. Of course, we prevent it by eating it all at once! 😆
Eating the whole thing is always my solution as well. :)

the recipes today look really nice and simple. hmm, I love the sausage and chicken prep recipes and the smoothies too! Your lace blouse was really nice too, Nami! it's so cute and elegant at the same time! ❤️ I remember my Mama, like you, she also likes to buy pretty dishes, cups and novelty items. I don't really get why she buys a whole cupboard of dishes when we only use a couple of them at home 😂 but as I watch your vlogs I kind of appreciate now the joy and satisfaction a pretty cup could add to a simple meal at home. A pretty cup says, "I'm doing fine", "It's such a lovely day" or simply just to remind you that there are things that you use to admire only with your eyes when you were younger and now that you are an adult you can admire them and bring them home too 😂.
