Out of all the Korean diet vlog channels, I only watch your videos consistently because they are not as diet-culture-driven and i don't feel pressured to start eating salads or munch on cherry tomatoes all day after watching your videos. Thank you so much for these recipes, I can't wait to try them out. recently I was becoming a bit discouraged and wasn't sure whether I can still carry on and I was running out of ideas and recipes but your video today instantly encouraged me to not give up. I've come so far and although the journey was hard (and still is) I'm glad I did it and started, otherwise I would have still been in the agony and depression I was before. a couple days ago, I tried on some of my clothes that I wore last summer and the barely fit me last year but this year they fit me so much better and for once in a long while I was truly proud but most importantly happy. today I remembered the day I tried the clothes on and for a second I thought it was a dream because for a long time I had imagined a day like that and I never thought it would come, but it did. although I'm not finished yet, and I don't know when ill be finished but everything I've done by now is enough and I couldn't be more proud of myself. thank you for teaching me a healthy way to lose weight and no matter how quickly we want to do it we should take are time and enjoy everything in the process whether it's having diet food, healthy food or fried chicken. You don't need to feel guilty about eating healthy food when trying to lose weight. I learned this this year. I have been trying to lose weight since quarantine last year but I couldn't until recently, last month!
I tried all kinds of diet and fasting but even if I lost the weight, I still gained it back because I'd go back to eating how I used to. Then I read a few articles and watched a few videos that stated that diet didn't matter, what mattered was just the amount of calories you consumed and cutting down on processed foods so basically, eating healthy because processed foods have so much calories...it's insane.
Ending of last month, I cut down on processed foods and started eating mostly good food. I still eat snacks but just once in a while. The only exercise i do is to walk for an hour and dance (I cannot dance lol) for 20 minutes.
Well, since that time, I have lost 4kg (62 ~58) and it's been off, hasn't returned like it used to. The changes aren't too noticeable but I'm so happy for this progress. Eating this way is actually sustainable than trying a diet that will tell you to cut off some types of foods.
Food is not the enemy, don't feel guiltyโค. I wish more people would realize that weight loss is supposed to be a gradual process. All that weight took time to accumulate...it's okay if it took time to go away too.

My story is exactly like yours, at the beginning of quarantine, Iโd try everything to lose weight. Crazy, restrictive diets, fasting etc. And like you, would gain it all back afterwards.
So ever since last month, Iโve changed my lifestyle too. I walk and dance exactly like you! I cut out all (okay, not all. Lol!) processed foods and stopped eating junk food and snacks that are full of sugar but marketed as โhealthyโ and Iโve gone from 58kg -> 55kg. Iโm still carrying on and am so happy with what I have lost so far.
Itโs definitely a steady and slow process but I feel so much better and healthier myself. Good luck on the rest of your journey. I definitely agree with everything that you have said โบ๏ธ

i love how she didn't starve herself and actually had full meals, this is the healthiest and best way to lose weight and not have a yo-yo effect afterwards
in her next video she was literally eating, fried chicken, noodles, ice cream and fast food in general lol.

She reaches her goals then stops the 'diet' just to gain all the weight back afterwards..
Just because someone loses weight that doesnt mean they "earned" the ability to eat more junk food or something.
There's no point in going back to your old diet which made someone gain weight in the first place.
Need to maintain the same diet with a slight increase of calories , while doing weight training at the gym.
That is what is the 'healthiest and best' as you said.
