well, show some initiative and consider him one of the best despite his geographic shortcomings. maybe a couple other idiots will notice and follow suit.
a musician like that would be doing the same thing if he were ridiculously wealthy or completely destitute. i don't think they even have a choice in the matter. plus he plays bass guitar so, it's instinctual for him to cope with being overlooked.

Well at 6 seconds this dark haired person appears out of nowhere at the perfect time for this solo. And at 25 seconds this guy just walks away even though this great solo was still happening.

@Punch Down King Sat 77 said _one_ of the best, which is certainly a fair assessment. Wojtek has the cleanest slap technique I've ever seen, and when you combine that with his speed and pocket, it's easy to say he's one of the best technicians.
Whether one likes his _style_ is, of course, just a matter of opinion.
Bass player myself for 15 years, this is one of the best I've ever seen. I slap the bass when I play it, but this man is something else. Would give him a bit of £ if I ever saw him play in person.

I was impressed with the skill demonstrated here, but was sure I could do what this man did too, with just a little practice. After watching this a couple of times, it really wasn't as hard as it seemed. I was soon able to watch this while standing and holding my beer EXACTLY like the guy watching on the right. Sadly, a camera malfunction prevented video proof of my success, but the satisfaction is there.
Was the angle of the glass in the right way though? Too bad we wont be able to see that footage.

I knew a bass player that had to change strings when his house band took a break. Acid sweat killed the tone, couldn't even pickup with a tuner after a few hrs of play time.

I love watching slap and pop on a 4 string. There's just something about it that stands out to me more than using a 5 or 6 stringer.

@@s1iznc1d34 Lol, that is the most meaningless load of nonsense I've ever heard. Playing a 6 string is no harder than a 4 string, it's simply a matter of what you like to play and what you need.

@@BeardedDanishViking obviously it's harder. Especially muting the strings if you haven't figured that out yet. The Bass already covers a pretty good range of notes with 4 strings and going above and beyond that will probably ruin the mix you're playing in. For solos or very specific applications 5 and even 6 strings can be useful but unless you want to play a melody your 4 string is going to be more than enough. In a musical context it's way better to work with less notes than with more. You can easily complicate stuff by adding extra notes. You should much rather concentrate on rythm, attack and such details instead of trying to add more notes. That's why 4 string players that mastered those 4 strings are way better than someone who plays a 6 string and doesn't actually know yet what to do with the extra two. Besides with a 5 string for example you really only add 5 lower notes. Might aswell play in a higher octave or tune lower
