      Particularly his 80s seasons, I hear like 70% of those games are buried. We don't get nearly enough of him in the 88-89 season and that was arguably him at his peak or very close to it

Shots from all positions, jumps, penetrations, dunks, speed, finding a solution under the foul... and the ball seems to be a part of his hand.     Thank God I was able to watch this man’s career at a time in my life as an early 80’s baby to a teenager, growing up wearing the shoes and jerseys, watching the games and seeing these moments happen in real time. Almost brought a tear to my eye watching the top 15 moments. Im a lifelong Lakers fan. Kobe is my favorite player, along with Magic and Shaq trailing behind him, respectively. But Michael Jeffrey Jordan was the best player ever in the history of the game.

    It's hard to believe that time flies by so quick, and MJ turning 60. Happy Birthday, MJ!!
    It really seems like yesterday when I was a junior high kid watching The Flu Game, him hitting the iconic game winner in 98, and him crying in the locker room holding the game ball after winning the Finals in 1996, in tribute to his father, winning the title on Father’s Day - which is my favorite MJ moment of all time. Epitome of excellence and a competitor, AND defying gravity. He wanted to beat the opponents, disease, and even natural forces at their best.

    There's been an NBA before MJ, and another one after MJ. Athleticism, elegance, speed, moves, mentality, top scorer and intense defense. In order to allow other players to get close to what he did, NBA had to change the rules. How many more titles would have he won, and how many points would have he scored without those two pauses in his career?

    Its wild how he never looks out of control. Switching hands mid air back to the basket fighting through three guys throwing the ball off high glass and its like he planned it all that way from the start.

    Crazy that the Bulls were DOWN 85-86 to the Jazz with 17 seconds left in the Finals, and instead of going for a quick bucket Jordan chose to run the clock down before taking his “last shot”. True confidence.

      A quick basket would have just meant that the Jazz had more time to shoot the last shot. It's normal for every NBA team to hold the ball to have the last shot or the last good shot of the game in that situation.

    Gracefulness, fluidity and power. All in one package. I have never seen anyone move like this on the court. The flexibility, hand-eye coordination and strength. It's crazy. Jordan moves with such fluidity it's like water. Two other players who had real fluidity based on their height were Wilt and Hakeem.

      That’s why the only argument they have for the LeBron is “he was the best player of the league for a longer period of time.”
      Michael Jordan was more dominant relative to his era and accomplished way more in a much shorter time frame.
      The fact that his 13 seasons with the Bulls is comparable to other people’s 20 seasons is unparalleled.
