I just saw an ABC News interview with Marco Rubio where he told the host it would be an honor to be Trump's VP. The host then played a clip from 2016 where Rubio called Trump a "con artist," telling the crowd, "He runs on this idea that he is fighting for the little guy. But he has spent his entire career, sticking it to the little guy...If you all have friends who are thinking about voting for Donald Trump, friends do not let friends vote for con artists." BOOM! This interview appears to me to be the audition for McDaniels' hiring. I don't see how or why she got the job based on this interview. She couldn't answer basic questions, she pushed back whenever Trump's name was brought up, regardless of the context, and she very clearly had rehearsed talking points about January 6th. She is the scorpion to NBC's frog. Why NBC trusted her to not drown them in the river together is far beyond me.
The 2020 election has been over and decided more times than anyone wants to think about again. Giving a voice to "voting irregularities" 3.5 years later is anti-democratic, delusional, wrong, and shows your propensity to gaslighting millions of people. There have been irregularities in every single election ever to be had in this country, yet, with a very specific and localized exception of 2000, only 2020 gets the microscope across the entire country. Recounts are fine, they are a side effect of a healthy system. Those happened in 2016 and they didn't change the result. Nobody actually questions the legitimacy of the vote count in 2016. It was safe and verified. Did people get into a giant horde regarding Russian interference? Yes! Because it changed people's minds. But was it ever alleged the vote counts themselves were altered? NO.
The fact I had to spell all of that out in an NBC KRplus comment section in 2024 shows how far we have fallen. Shame on NBC. Shame on the RNC. Shame on all of you who perpetuate this lie to make more money and have more power. The people under your spell may never wake up. You cannot control what you cannot break.

NBC...Really? Another reason for me to cut the ties with NBC news in every format. I've felt the shift for a long time. This whole hiring/interview is just another thing that solidifies my decision. Wow!!!! Glad this aired because it helps me connect the dots.

@@shawnmeier9537 "there were so many problems with the election" (even after 60 federal suits saying there was NO evidence of fraud) and tens of audits showed no fraud. What she meant by "problems" was fraud in the election, and that was shown over and over again not to have taken place. She can't even say, without being pressed in March 2024, that Biden won "fair and square" in 2020. She had to be pushed to admit it and was willing to lie about it until then. THAT was a lie.
