An entire summer (while a pandemic was raging) of rioting and looting and liberal mass-media never sent through continual stories to condemn the violence and chaos and to explicitly state that now is not the time to protest, because again, this same liberal media hooted and hollered about the precariousness of the pandemic yet pretty much continued to motivate the main bulk of the protesting.
In fact, not that earlier before that, this same liberal mass-media demonized conservative peaceful protesters that where protesting for the economy to be loosened by strict lock-downs sooner. Then right after basically cheer on an entire summertime's worth of racial justice protests (and this is not to say that people do not have the right to peacefully protest racial injustice).

Agreed so the insurrectionists in Oregon and MN specifically who attacked capital buildings, police stations attempting to set fire to them, and throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at police should also be tried at the fullest extent of the law and anyone, including kamala harris, joe Biden, celebrities who helped raise money to pay for their bail should also be arrested as well for encouragement of insurrection due to publicly encouraging them not to stop . Equal justice should be done because insurrection is insurrection, not just when the side doing it is who you agree/disagree with.

Take part of the funds for them and use it to call on the right people for a given situation. To stop militarising police forces in our neighborhoods. To make sure the really bad apples are charged with their crimes snd removed from the force for good.
The first thing any law enforcement agency should do before hiring anyone, is a background check. That now includes all social media posts. When My son when was going to be promoted to 1st Lieutenant in the air force he had 2 officers question my neighbors on his character. They even asked what kind of a child he was. That’s vetting.........he is now a retired captain working in the private sector.
I am NOT defending the NYPD , but they are very vigorous in the process and they do go and ask the community about the applicant , unfortunately a bad apple Rots after it ripens

I just hope they take the lead by 1st accepting responsibility, and 2nd that they take steps to remedy this systemic problem that the attack on the Capitol illuminated the facts of how racism is prevalent in the police.

It is at a point, nobody will want to be police. I grew up wanting to be a police officer, then joined army. After I got out, I never pursued it and think was a good move. My uncle was a k9 police, he quit this year and decided to be a Tribal police.
