It had to be officers that let them in- I thought this was the second most secure building in U.S. The scene I saw was like no one was home. The officers inside didn’t even do their best and someone should have called for swat and the military. The vandals took charge and gained entry as though they were military or something. Well, let's temper our own anger at this aspect, at least until we know more. We clearly saw video of some officers guarding closed doors with windows being broken in. Well, let's temper our own anger at this aspect, at least until we know more. We clearly saw video of some officers guarding closed doors with windows being broken in. We saw the crowd of cops with one getting crushed pushing back fighting against the mob of terrorists. We know that at least one cop ran out to lead the terrorists away before doors between them and senators could be locked. While there were absolutely insiders in those police, there were some truly heroic ones as well. Let's not forget that one already committed suicide. Let's not persecute the good ones. This is coming from a Never Trumper that believes in the core principle of defunding the police (for those that will complain, yeah, maybe the people protecting the capitol and or congress and such shouldn't be considered normal police. I also don't mean getting rid of all police, or replacing the functions police would lose with people more applicable for those duties).

What our leaders do now is crucial, and we cannot afford to show the slightest weakness. Not even to flinch. America must remove trump and take away his ability to re-enter office at all, and we should do it quickly.
