The 737 is actually a pretty safe aircraft
The 737x had problems the models before did not.
Indonesian airlines are notorious for lack of maintenance
@@jamesricker3997 737-200 and 300s had a nasty habit of the rudder locking up sending the plane into a dive. Caused like 4 or 5 crashes back in the day. The 737 record has never been clean from crashes or design flaws.

@@antdx316 it's not hard to do, I know a mother and her daughter who both succumb to the disease, I was able to give my Condolences to the Grandson, who lost both his mom and Grandmother, just think of people as part of the human family and said a prayer for them, I remember a kid saying a prayer before his meal and asking God to provide food for all the hungry Children in the world, hope this help

Indonesia different from other countries, we have extreme weather every rainy season here, more volcano, more
earthquake, more the island so a lot of travel by air and sea is very risky, more flood, more tsunami etc. This country is located in equator line where we also often get natural disasters. So this happened again because of the bad weather

Indonesian airlines do not have a very good record they have very poor maintenance procedures

It's 27 years old plane. It belongs in the junkyard. Fly cheap airline is like gambling with your life.

A descent rate of 30,000 feet per minute?!!! That’s over 300mph!!!
30,000ft/min is a power-on nose dive.
That's the power of Boeing. They will face no repercussions.
That seems physically impossible for a plane to just drop at that rate 30,000 ft./min. is like being shot from the sky. That sounds like a technical failure to me. A plane has terminal velocity just like a person. So it didn’t fall out of the sky it flew into the sea at full speed nose down.
