I feel bad for second place - should have been first place - and an individual in the B final who would have been in the A final.... oh and an individual who didn't make the B final at all but should have.

Lol. there is no prelims for this event so there isnt a 'b final' or 'a final'. this is the fastest heat, but you can win from any heat.
