I still hope for a big ass update LoL 2.0 new permanent game modes, training mode, bot mode, pve mode. It’s been 15y. Feel like they made slow incremental update to LoL to keep us busy only 2.0. Just copium. But also make sense. Especially learning/training mode. There are so many things to do here both for new players and the pro scene.
I would love to swap over to wild rift… sadly controlling a game like league on a touch screen is one of the worst experiences i has while playing games. I dont get how anyone can do it

The thing that gives Wild Rift such a good opportunity to mess around with new stuff is that the engine is much easier to mess around with. LoL PC’s code is a mess to deal with, the amount of effort just to get a rework of a single champion like Skarner is proof of how difficult it is to mess with the system. WR has a lot more freedom to do these things.

There’s hits and misses but it’s mostly good. Matchmaking can be interesting and we don’t always get the champion reworks or have very different versions of champs which is sad but it’s we do have absolutely great events. Constantly. That’s really fun
It means that they are more care in Mobile than PC and for me honestly i like the Gameplay of Wildrift than PC not Overpowered Champs and more Balance. The Only Problem is the Solo Queue Matchmaking sometimes Dogsh*t 😅

This is probably because they can't, or at least not so easily as in WR, this is because PC League is mande in a riot-made engine while WR is made with Unity, this make miles easier for Riot to develop more new things for mobile. Where on PC you need to teach the new employees the engine in and out, in mobile the learning curve is easier

It's extremely simple and people have said it over and over again. It is actual hell to do anything in League because of how old and shitty the code is, while Wild Rift is made in Unity and is easy to work with. As a Rioter mentioned when talking about Skarner's update, it took so long to update Skarner because a ton of the game relied on Skarner's code. Change or remove Skarner and the game literally breaks.

At SOME point it just sounds like incompetence that there has been minimal to no attempt to actually WORK on the code to make it easier to work with. @@Xero-Space They're literally doing that all the time, if you read my comment you'd know they had to rewrite massive parts of the game to remove Skarner's old kit. They had to rewrite large parts of the game to make Arena happen, they had to recode how abilities works when they made Sylas, etc. Stuff like that happens all the time without us knowing because it's all boring backend stuff. But it's still a massive and ancient game, which means there's only so much you can do. If they were to do a "lol 2" like some people bitch about, it would likely take 5+ years before we got a playable version, and during that time we wouldn't get any updates to regular League at all. And after all that time and money, the players wouldn't even notice a difference other than it might be a bit quicker to add new features in the future.
Ranked Skins are their own collection. The one Braum is from was started this season (12) with Xin Zhao. If it's similar to human Camavoran armors, I believe it to be a coincidence based on my own familiarity with the game which is mostly trying to stay low Platinum and not slip back in the Gold Hells.

I've been playing wildrift since alpha and i can say this lore based game mode and mini games is a BIG thing for us global wildrift players. This was once just an exclusive privilege on Chinese server now we can have it too not just some boring ass event 😭🥰
It would be awesome if league has individual pve storymode for each character. Examples would be the kalista one shown, but imagine playing as sivir, and its a dungeon crawler killing creeps in the catacombs, then the final boss is Cassiopeia after she becomes snake. Or what if miss fortune had you boarding a ship, and the final boss was gangplank. Cool ideas
People should really be playing wild rift. I know, for u western audience it’s hard to persuade u into playing a mobile game on your phone, but trust me, the game feels much better, much more fun and doesn’t take up an entire hour just to loose.

Introducing the lore of LOL in the mobile version is a solid choice. With how common smartphones are than pc and how relatively cheaper the decent one's are nowadays, it's bound to reach a much wider audience. Here's to hoping they don't fall short in this move and f*ck the story up too much. 🤞
Just a friendly tip for anybody who wants to dive in on this, but they hate the idea of playing on their phone... Get yourself a tablet or try to emulate this on your PC with some Android emulator. With a bit of an effort, you might even be able to make it work with a controller, but personally, I think the touch controls on Wild Rift are much better than I expected them to be, and quite good, even.
The touch controls on WR is alot smoother than clicking where to move in PC. In my years of playing in PC, I dodge more skill shot in WR just by moving smoothly.
The reason wild rift is getting this is very simple... Pc league will never die, ever... people have proven no matter what, they will play, and they will pay. League is money generator. WR is mobile, and it doesn't reach an audience If it's just a behind port of PC, so to entice players, they add aspects away from pvp, because pve on phone is easier and more casual.. What happens in one, will never affect the other.. riot knows their business model... and what we want doesn't matter if it doesn't generate revenue.
Thry kept under estimate us. Even the grinding is faster then pc. Champions are also cheaper here with only cost 5500 blue motes. And per match we can get 200 blue motes in 4 months we can already unlock all champs
League and Wild Rift Players right now are the Meme with the Goth Girl ( not amused ) and Rainbow Girl ( amused ) in the Car, how can the Original be worst then the phone version.
I'd be a lot more invested in league events if they were story stuff and focused around canon rather than just obscenely priced skins centered around themes which don't impress most of the time. I'm happy wild rift took this direction tbh. Hopefully it does well enough that the main game studio looks at it and maybe changes direction. If they manage to pull away from fomo for the story stuff so you can replay it whenever then even better. The game would improve by... Leagues...

I'm not interested in mobile gaming. But I'm absolutely furious that Riot can do events for a moba, they just chose not to for LoL PC. I can't believe we finally get human Kalista... but only on mobile. Most competent game studio leadership.

This is probably because they can't, or at least not so easily as in WR, this is because PC League is mande in a riot-made engine while WR is made with Unity, this make miles easier for Riot to develop more new things for mobile. Where on PC you need to teach the new employees the engine in and out, in mobile the learning curve is easier
I still remember the Season 2022 live when WR was shown all of the live chat commenting "Skip" and now PC players begging for the exclusive skins for wr to be in PC and now WR have Lore PVE 😂
It's so crazy to me that they'll do all of this for Wild Rift but fuck league on PC man, the most it's gotten in years was Arena and while it's a good mode, I fail to see how this company is just completely incapable or nearly completely unwilling to actually give us more variety.
There's only so many fucking games of just Summoner's Rift and ARAM I can play before I just get sick and tired of it man.

It's extremely simple and people have said it over and over again. It is actual hell to do anything in League because of how old and shitty the code is, while Wild Rift is made in Unity and is easy to work with. As a Rioter mentioned when talking about Skarner's update, it took so long to update Skarner because a ton of the game relied on Skarner's code. Change or remove Skarner and the game literally breaks.
@@leetri I would accept this excuse if I haven't been hearing the same excuse for like 10 years now. At SOME point it just sounds like incompetence that there has been minimal to no attempt to actually WORK on the code to make it easier to work with. Yes I know it isn't easy to just MAGICALLY make the code better, but at a certain point something needs to be fuckin done. Iit genuinely pisses me off that the game has LESS content than it did 10 years ago, and somehow this is just fine and dandy for everyone.
@@Xero-Space They're literally doing that all the time, if you read my comment you'd know they had to rewrite massive parts of the game to remove Skarner's old kit. They had to rewrite large parts of the game to make Arena happen, they had to recode how abilities works when they made Sylas, etc.
Stuff like that happens all the time without us knowing because it's all boring backend stuff. But it's still a massive and ancient game, which means there's only so much you can do.
If they were to do a "lol 2" like some people bitch about, it would likely take 5+ years before we got a playable version, and during that time we wouldn't get any updates to regular League at all. And after all that time and money, the players wouldn't even notice a difference other than it might be a bit quicker to add new features in the future.
I dont know much about these new champs but that Maokai skin is giving.

League PC: Best I can do is Vanguard and broken client.
Ranked Skins are their own collection. The one Braum is from was started this season (12) with Xin Zhao. If it's similar to human Camavoran armors, I believe it to be a coincidence based on my own familiarity with the game which is mostly trying to stay low Platinum and not slip back in the Gold Hells.
Floating around in Platinum is rough.
Either we Get the "Good" Gold Players, or we get the Emerald Rejects.

@@Mordekaiser0305actually wild rift puts some bots early lvls and if you are new based on your performance from 1 to 5 games you can get iron to gold players in your games ,so yeah in low elo your matchmaking is purely based on your own skills
Like if you are good you'll get high lvl opponents and low lvl teammates

This is what broke the camels back for me quitting league, the fact that WR is getting more of leagues features / cut content just shows how little care is going into league itself outside of SR, truly a disappointment from a long league players

I've been playing wildrift since alpha and i can say this lore based game mode and mini games is a BIG thing for us global wildrift players. This was once just an exclusive privilege on Chinese server now we can have it too not just some boring ass event 😭🥰

It would be awesome if league has individual pve storymode for each character. Examples would be the kalista one shown, but imagine playing as sivir, and its a dungeon crawler killing creeps in the catacombs, then the final boss is Cassiopeia after she becomes snake. Or what if miss fortune had you boarding a ship, and the final boss was gangplank. Cool ideas

People should really be playing wild rift. I know, for u western audience it’s hard to persuade u into playing a mobile game on your phone, but trust me, the game feels much better, much more fun and doesn’t take up an entire hour just to loose.

Introducing the lore of LOL in the mobile version is a solid choice. With how common smartphones are than pc and how relatively cheaper the decent one's are nowadays, it's bound to reach a much wider audience. Here's to hoping they don't fall short in this move and f*ck the story up too much. 🤞

Just a friendly tip for anybody who wants to dive in on this, but they hate the idea of playing on their phone... Get yourself a tablet or try to emulate this on your PC with some Android emulator. With a bit of an effort, you might even be able to make it work with a controller, but personally, I think the touch controls on Wild Rift are much better than I expected them to be, and quite good, even.
The touch controls on WR is alot smoother than clicking where to move in PC. In my years of playing in PC, I dodge more skill shot in WR just by moving smoothly.
Also kiting is easier now.

The reason wild rift is getting this is very simple...
Pc league will never die, ever... people have proven no matter what, they will play, and they will pay. League is money generator.
WR is mobile, and it doesn't reach an audience If it's just a behind port of PC, so to entice players, they add aspects away from pvp, because pve on phone is easier and more casual..
What happens in one, will never affect the other.. riot knows their business model... and what we want doesn't matter if it doesn't generate revenue.

Thry kept under estimate us. Even the grinding is faster then pc. Champions are also cheaper here with only cost 5500 blue motes. And per match we can get 200 blue motes in 4 months we can already unlock all champs

I'd be a lot more invested in league events if they were story stuff and focused around canon rather than just obscenely priced skins centered around themes which don't impress most of the time. I'm happy wild rift took this direction tbh. Hopefully it does well enough that the main game studio looks at it and maybe changes direction. If they manage to pull away from fomo for the story stuff so you can replay it whenever then even better. The game would improve by... Leagues...
