They talk nicely, but their movies were about organized crime and bad men. Contributes to facts of crime. Yet made money out of it. Millions. In real life they were not criminals, they said to themselves. Think again, I said. "If you chose a bad president, which happens in most cases in the USA, therefore, you are a participant in the misery of your country and people". Opportunists are different sorts of criminals that in this world have not been classified as a crime. We have many degrees of crime, no? Theirs is not known to unconscious humans yet. As a philosopher, I see it very differently. There is a big difference between used-care salesmen and new ones. Prostitution of one's mind is very bad for the spirit and worse for the soul. I do not criticize, but bring it to light. As for what is damaging, we can see it better.

This could've been a movie about Scorsese, De Niro, Pesci and Pacino just sitting down, eating their meals in a nice restaurant and chatting about their careers for 2 hours or more. I'd paid my money to see that!!

Three Italians, dining in the restaurant, Brooklyn probably, one of them is Al Pacino
Tell me, how could this movie not end up Al Pacino shooting Joe Pesci in the face and Robert De Niro in the neck and in his head?🤣

They were all great but Pacino was the one who really made it all work. His energy enabled everyone else to be understated.

Joe’s performance really impressed me the most. DeNiro is the best actor out of them obviously but in this role Joe was so restrained and so on point for one of those old bosses. They were never loud and barely spoke but to a couple people. Pesci made the film for me.

Sad thing is, we’re gonna lose these legends soon. Enjoy them while they’re here. Their particular generation is imo the best. Including Hackman, Hoffman, Hopkins, Dern, Nicholson, Eastwood, Freeman, Caine, Duvall etc. I’ve probably left a lot out, we just lost Sean Connery, the cycle begins, but what they’ve given us is amazing.
