@Andrl08 I find her style of banter naturally funny and endearing, and the way her and Trixie's personalities play off each other is entertaining. The guy leading it was called guy fawkes. They booked a room under parliament and shoved a ton of gunpowder underneath, planning to blow the king up and everyone else underneath too. They got found out yadayadayada all tortured and hung, drawn and quartered and all that nice stuff.
We used to celebrate it by getting a dummy, dressing it up as guy fawkes and throwing it on a bonfire but now we normally now just have a barbecue, set off some fireworks and wave around sparklers. Fun times.

Gerald's Game...that scene with the hand was one of the most visceral horror movie moments I've ever seen. I was halfway between crying and throwing up when I first saw it.

Scream really is the most iconic horror film ever...
If you want to see an absolute classic “Horror” look up The Haunting from 1963, not the remake with Catherine Zucchini Jones, this one is in Black and White. There are few special effects, no moving statues, no “ghosts” on view. It’s all narrated from the mind of a Woman named Eleanor, and as the movie goes deeper, it begins to play with your mind. You start to feel like you can see these things she mentions. There is a scene in the bedroom, actually 2 scenes in the bedroom that still give me chills every single time I watch this movie.
Eleanor describes how she feel like if you turn away the statues move... I ended up sat watching these bloody statues, afraid to look away.
First time I ever watched it in the dark with full on surround sound, I had to turn it down and put the light on while I whimpered and talked to my cat while I ignored the rest of the movie, to afraid to go remove the video from the vcr... I shit you not.
So if you can handle something more psychological than flashy and you can cope with a movie entirely in Black & White... seriously watch it!
I’d avoid the Catherine Zucchini version tho, it’s utter cheese, rather than describing things that are kinda imagined in the original movie, they actually show you these things instead. So where Eleanor says she feels like statues move, the newer version shows off flashy effects of moving statues... it’s just blah.
It is however the same house/story that was to become the Netflix Series, The Haunting of Hill House, and the Krane family.
I have honesty never had so much fun watching a video!
