Everyone's talking about JJH meanwhile I'm all over KHS staring like that into (my eyes)the camera & I couldn't look away.
love this moment! :) these two are like nothing i've ever seen in k-dramaland before. :D they make the chase so fun. While I feel for Hee Jae every time he loses, i think KHS winning over him is the right plot device. JJH's character is already at the top of the food chain. he's arrogant, brilliant, and he's never been beaten. KHS, on the other hand, is a struggling attorney, has revenge plans (that building she keeps checking out), and nowhere near classy. she's already at a disadvantage when you consider their dynamics. If he wins over KHS too many times, his character will lose interest quickly. And it would only confirm his idea that she's beneath his notice. he already thinks she disgusts him (but we know better.) KHS one-upping him keeps him engaged. he'd fallen for her so quickly the first time. oh it's going to be so much fun to see him fall for her again, this time with no blinders on.
there's also us rooting for when KHS finally realizes JJH means something to her too. After all, she hadn't tossed that LP aside (that gift he'd handed back to her.) she also answered his questions. why would she? if he didn't mean anything?
what i hate most about this show is that it's only twice a week. Arrrrgh!!!
I was kinda shocked that Hye-soo unnie took this role but then I seriously canβt think of any other actresses that could have pulled off both sides (real nasty and crazy Gum-za and the fake classy side) haha. Additionally, I believe both of them are feeling something for each other, just like you said, Gum-za doesnβt throw away the LP. And they enjoy competing and kicking each other asses lmao. Iβm glad we get to watch two episodes each week but it also means this show would be over in another 6 weeks:/
@@zzzs123 You are so right!! i mean, what were they thinking, offering this to SHK? no offense, but i haven't seen her in any roles that required her to show a gritty side. This one seems tailor-made for KHS. She's funny (she and her assistant are hilarious), hella devious, and man, when she and JJH are going at it, all those sparks and chemistry just blow up. so fun!
OMG THANK YOU!!! I donβt even know the actress but people kept on saying that sheβs not one who shouldβve played. I love her and their relationship is what I love. As you said they are different but thatβs the point of the drama.
@@Sunny-uo3gt true. besides, if JJH's character wanted a pretty face, he could easily get that anywhere. he's pretty popular with the secretaries already and he had that stalker in episode 2. he also seems to lose interest in his girlfriends quickly. KHS is the only one who's snared his attention for far longer. p.s. I love their relationship too! :) i didn't expect to like this pairing and i thought this was going to be a boring legal series but gave it a try one night, thinking i would fall asleep right after. boy, was i wrong. haha. i didn't get to sleep until much, much later. i can't wait for both leads to realize they've pretty much met their match. :D so, so FUN! :D

this was such a good scene! my heart broke for him :( this show had really good angsty scenes which i thoroughly enjoyed. the leads have amazing chemistry from the bickering/banter to the heartbreaking scenes to just straight up sexual tension! i also really really realllyyy love the female lead. i think kdrama writers (specifically in 2020) have been writing stronger female leads. iβm so used to annoying female leads or like damsel in distress which i donβt really mind because thatβs like asian dramas 101 but itβs always refreshing whenever you see a strong female lead. this is also my first ju ji hoon kdrama. (iβve seen him in princess hrs but i dropped it after like the 1st ep so i consider this as my first) and i realized heβs an amazing actor. he played this role wonderfully. canβt really imagine anyone else playing geum ja and yoon hee jae.
side note ju ji joon fineee as hell like can we discuss cause....

people hate this drama for the female character yet most dramas the male does the same thing. often one-sided unrequited love, or ignoring her then when another guy comes along now they are interested. the double standard has me baffled. this is great drama. favorite kdrama couple very refreshing/new.

I understand if many people dislike this drama. But i don't think those people hate because the female lead is strong. I too annoyed at geum ja, as a woman who was abused (i'm guessing from her flashbacks) she seems so cruel that she made jeong hwa stay with chan ho when she know chan ho is abusive and has many mental problems. I like geumja as a complex character. And sometimes i hate her for cruel decisions she made. But i still need to watch this drama damn it!

I love this drama very much! I havenβt see a good script of Korean drama for a long time. Even I donβt like the actressβs suit at all! Itβs ugly. But I still like this drama. This is the only one I wonβt use Fast track to watch recently!
