I love how K-dramas are shot mostly in real life locations, rather than in a studio or behind a green screen. Itβs very different from American style filmmaking and I think itβs probably one of the reasons why I started to enjoy watching K-Dramas
Most high end kdramas' interior scenes are shot in studios or made for dramas sets like Hotel del Luna, Dr. Romantic, and It's Okay Not to be Okay. They just make them really believable that they don't look fake.
I actually see what u mean. It is a fantasy, but it uses real sets except for the outside of the cursed castle.
But most American or western dramas would use real sets.
It's more than sets that sets them apart lol.
This show is a masterpiece.
That really depends on the american movie or show. There are lots filmed in real life locations. It's really hard to film a movie like marvel in a real life location. Especially if the movie requires a lot of CGI.

But have you noticed many kpop idols are also actors, and they still seem shy. But those who are actors by profession dont seem to have that hesitation. So it tells me that in a creative and constructive environment idols of opposite genders can get together well and date, marry, work,romance etc.
@@nethu6577 That's because admit it or not Idols are seen as products where as their "Fans" spend money on them making fans think they have rights on the idol's lives but it's also to some extent part of being an idol as they intentionally feed their fan's delusions with fanservice. Actors basically just sell and promote their movies they don't mix their real life with their fans. Idols can be actors but that doesn't remove the effect of them being an idol.

The actors were so so so good. For me Seo Yea-ji and Oh Jung-se impressed me the most. Seo Yea-ji yet again taking on a method acting role and giving her all despite the affects method acting has on actors mental health. Everything about how she played her character was perfect. I hope sheβs doing okay because I canβt imagine the toll it would have taken on her. And Oh Jung-se played Sang-tae so believably, professionally and respectfully I actually had to search whether the actor had autism himself. Truly amazing

I like how KSH is always so assertive in how he wants a scene to be like. If he have a good vision or an idea for a scene he voice it out and discuss it w/ the director. Even in his past drama he have always been like that. And if a scene was somehow unsatisfactory to him he would ask to it again & again until he is satisfied. He really took acting very seriously and put his everything in every drama he do. He also put his own unique view point & understanding in every character he play.
I remember it was said that the iconic crying scene in TMETS was KSH's idea. He told the director that instead of holding back his tears or just quietly (& handsomely) crying he wanted to break down crying instead to show the audience just how heartbroken he really is that he broke down crying without caring for his image as a King. And look that got him Baeksang Best Actor Award at age 24!

These 3 main leads carried the whole show (well, that was to be expected tbh but still). The way each of them portrayed Gangtae, Sangtae and Munyoung were amazing. The 3 of them left me speechless the entire show, it's been a long time for me to be actually emotionally invested in the story and characters. I could feel all the emotions they wanted to showcase to viewers. I emphasized and felt relatable with all of them even though I have a little in common with them in reality. The characters felt real, which is a hard job to do as actors. My biggest applause for them!
Yea ji's smile were precious. Look at the way she smile and laugh on the set. Thats why i dont believe in the issue that shes a bully.

kim soo hyun looks so cool and composed in most of his films but he's actually the most goofy of all of them π
I've seen so many kdramas but omg this drama and the chemistry between the leads on screen and even off screen is on FIRE. It's really refreshing to see KSH tell his ideas and opinions as well as being an amazing actor. I've been a huge fan of seo yeji since I saw save me and hwarang, she's an outstanding actress and deserved more recognition so am so proud of her getting more praise. Do we even need to talk about Oh Jung se literally nailing every role since forever. This cast is perfect. I hope we get to see more swoon content PLSSSS.

I am glad that Seo Yeji starts filming back for new drama. She is such a gorgeous and talented actress for any kinds of drama.
I love how my recommended has videos of Seo Yeji lined up now that she is getting more hate. Some of y'all have nothing better to do then jump on a bandwagon of hating any celeb.

@@xChoco98Love lol i agree somethings fishy but theres been alot of bullying confirmed with evidences from the staff and some pupils who were with her in the same school. if it was like one or two people id stay neutral but the fact that there were more and evidences provided by Dispatch. i dont condone Dispatchβs behaviour by leaking stuff but they never post fake stuff
