I really love her as Yeom Mi Yeong in "My liberation notes" with her soulful acting, poetic look along with the brilliant writing of the writer. And through her interviews, I can see she's smart and very good at words while articulating thoughts of her complex character. Ji Won's somehow similar to Mi Yeong in many aspects. "Whenever you are, you always look like you belong there"-Like Ji Won, whatever role she plays, she really pulls off them remarkably that people remember her character's names. Besides, Ji Won is brave and has a steady mind like Mi Yeong since she has joined the industry for years but she enjoy being remembered as an actor (artist) rather than longing for the stardom. I could only see her actor's side but not her personal daily moments. It's social media era where celebrities gains more fan by being active on insta and youtube but she's nowhere to be found after each drama. So all we could do is to rewatch her drama when we miss her. This woman is incredible, she made a huge impact with each piece and made us feel many emotions. I find it fascinating how most of us didn't even realize it has her playing all these roles. because she brings such diversity and freshness into each character that we forget her identity and remember her as the character only. I think in a time where many actors ink K-dramas or even in Hollywood keep playing in different projects but feel like they always play the same character, she is one of the rare people who can say that they fully get into the time, the emotions and the essence of the storyline and make a huge remark on the roles that people remember her each role by name. she is so iconic. I am super happy to watch her interview and see that she gets more recognition. She is now my favourite actor.

I hardly watch Kdrama but somehow end up watching lots of Kdrama of Kim Ji Won cause I can't get enough of Choi Ae Ra in Fight for my way (my first drama of Jiwon) who is so realistic and relatable character compared to poor girl-rich boy stories in Kdrama industry that time. Then I discover her in other drama like The heir and DOTS which was so popular in my country during their airing time, which leaves me jaw dropping cause her characters're really different. She's really versatile and make you immersive into her character without any trace of other iconic roles she used to play. She keeps bettering with each role. I thought I loved her most as Choi Ae Ra but I was wrong until I met Yeom Mi Yeong. Never thought I could like a stoic character but Kim Ji Won and Park Hae Young writer left an unique character in my heart! I was so obsessed with Yeong Mi Yeong and My liberation notes that I went watch BTS, interviews and even Geewonie ig for the first time. It's a bit late to watch all her drama but I stan for her from now on cause I got to know a professional artist, an adorable, bubbly, smiley baby girl and a considerate, thoughtful, elegant lady like Kim Ji Won!
