One of the reason why koreans make the best zombie movies is that their zombies actors are mostly dancers that could really do creepy things with their bodies. They introduced us to a whole new world of zombies, very different from what we're used to see (slow zombies which has no thrill). These fast zombies creeps me out everytime. They did a good job as always.

Finished this last night with my wife , this was a true masterpiece hands down 10/10 show of 2022. Each episode packed with something going on and action. I truly love this show I even hope there’s a season 2!

I actually finish the entire season in one day because I couldn't stop watching it from the start, the actors are the best in portraying their roles. If you haven't watch this yet, I recommend you to watch this because it's worth it.😭💗
I WILL GIVE THE SERIES 5/10 THAT I HAVE TO SKIP SOME UNNECESSARY SCENE DURING THE EPISODES ESPECAILLY THE TOILET SCENE. No build up, the move basically is a plagiarism of Tokyo Ghoul and useless characters. READ MY REASONING BELOW AND I AM SURE MANY OF YOU WILL AGREED. NOT SURE WHY THIS SHOW HAS A HIGH RATING. EITHER YOU PEOPLE JUST LIKE TO SEE PRETTY GIRLS AND BOYS ON THE SCREEN.
1) Main character is horrible because they just need emotional support for every 5 minutes.
2) Some of the death is dumb like for example the teacher just sacrifice her life for Lee Na-Yeon and she just died just like that. Before you all said that "this is realistic and not your typical fairy tail movie", I did not mean that because when you want to kill a character, build up the plot leading to her death first. For example, Game of thrones which is known of killing their characters (ps: I'm not talking about the shitty seasons after season 5 because they don't follow the books), they build up Rob's betrayal leading to his death due to bad decision.
3) Why did they treat those bully victims like garbage and one of those bully gotten a free pass to be a super human zombie mode. Did those victims deserve it? Why one of the victims just died after being ate by his friend. And now the friend is treated like a lab rat? And the main bully is still running out there happily? Are they trying to promote bullying? The show will be better if one of the victims become the villain and the bully died a horrible death. Because the way they treated the victims is just like a side garbage to the story.
4) The scientist motivation is dumb. Basically he just create this virus so that his son will grow stronger? Why not move your son to another school? Send your son to Judo and fight back against those bullies? Or the father himself should go after the bullies. The father is a smart scientist and I am sure he will find a reasonable way to deal with the bullies and not just create a zombie virus.
The only good thing about this series is nam ra. Other than that is mediocre. Kingdom is a better series. Recommend you all to watch Kingdom: Ashin of the north and kingdom season 1 and 2. The motivation of the villain is clearer in those show on why the person decided to cause the outbreak unlike this show.

So far I like how self aware this movie is. The characters know what zombies are, they have seen it in movies, have a certain movie knowledge on how to deal with them. This looks refreshing!
And most important of all.. those zombies are fast!

@@Hypeboy280 I liked Sweet Home, felt very Japanese anime/manga. The Silent Sea... was yikes, so damn slow. Hellbound was alright, nonsensical.
Honestly this is really the best Zombie series I ever watched. It has different effects from the people who got bitten. And they are so fast that you will feel so nervous about how to survive. And I felt so amazed of how they did it was so awesome, when they are overwhelming because of the zombies each character seems so much passionate and ready to fight no matter what and tried everything they can. And this drama has many different messages and deep thoughts about how we interact or how we should do something like we really need to think deeply and not because of feelings we will act so rashly. If we think of all possibilities what can happen, we actually can be saved somehow. I loved their friendship it makes me amazed how they love each other so much and the trust they have for each other. The love from their parents/children are really so special bond for each other, that no matter what happens the love they have for each other won't be gone. As same as friendship relationship, of course the love teams we have. Nam-ra and Su-hyeok I never saw like their love for each other, like no matter what they are willing to sacrifice just to make that person feel safe. And saved no matter how hard is the situations, they always have each other's back and never abandoned and even without saying they knew what will they do.
On-jo and Cheong-San are different kind of love too, for me I mean they are together since they were kids so they knew each other very well. And Cheong-San will always protect and sacrifice himself for the one he loves and always make sure that On-jo is safe and not being hurt. But literally all of them have a big impact on the series I never thought that All of us are dead would make such a big part of my life. How I see things how should I handle big problems, and to show me how lucky that were still have our chance to live our lives and the relationships between parents, friends etc.
So I am really really grateful for their hard work, and everything they did to make the series heartfelt and full of lessons ♥ and of course unforgettable the character of Gwi-Nam is the first ever Zombie/Hambie that I never expected to see. He was so passionate and really cool he really aced his role 💜💖❤💙 He added so much suspense and thrill. Nam-ra did her very best not to harm her friends and endure the pain and thirst in blood. And she's so cool when fighting to protect her friends and of course for Su-hyeok 💖
I can't stop watching it I watched it for 3x and soon will watch it over and over again. The way each characters I can see their hearts the way they act towards one another, their feelings and to be considerate towards one another. And be still kind even though their situations are in chaos and make sure that their friends and families are still safe and will do everything they can to keep them alive. ❤💜
K- Horror has really taken over my time. They capture your attention so quick and keep you on edge. I've been venturing out into other cultures horror and gosh they have consumed me, from movies like this to even the horror cartoons.

Like many people in the comment section have mentioned, when it comes to zombie films, Korea never ceases to amaze us. Also, "It's Train to Busan" is such an underrated line. I like how this film combines both elements horror and comedy at the same time.

If you read the Webtoon there is a deeper story why the Professor Kept the rat. I'm not sure if they will follow the original plot or it's different but so far the trailer is the same as the Webtoon. When the prof find out that one of his student is bitten by the rat, he tries to cure the girl student but the student got away that started the virus outbreak. The reason the prof is keeping the rat is to experiment and find cure because his wife becomes a zombie in the Webtoon before the start of the main plot

@@Frodoooows sounds like what in the 'Happiness' drama happened (Lieutenant [not sure about his position] keeping the girl [at first] hoping she might have the anti-bodies to cure his wife, who got bitten also by a zombie.
@@cinnamonrollz7152 Actually she did not really want to keep the student but the reason is the prof wanted to find a cure and if he can find a cure people will learn his experiment which is the student who gets bitten by the rat and died and turned out to be a zombie. Happiness drama is a lot more different but I get your point about the wife. The zombie in this case is more like the zombie in 28 weeks later zombie film. There is a student in the Webtoon that has an eye patch like in the zombie Japanese film Hero. Not sure if the adaptation will adapt the whole plot but the trailer is the same as the Webtoon
Finished watching season 1 last night, for me this is 10/10 zombie movie so far!.. its like real..so brutal, non stop fighting, and lastly, SURVIVAL..
Aish.. After seeing this trailer I want to see the series but scared in going to school from now on
