This movie was shot at my university (University of Cape Town), at my res. Was kind of traumatizing watching it, not gonna lie lol. I remember when I went back to varsity after the holidays last year, they were filming. My dad's car battery died and the background actors had to help push the car. Funniest moment ever.

In the book actually Noah talks to Elle about how he was bullied as a kid but in the middle school when he started to go to kickboxing and once in his test how he got a C ,though his parents told him it wasn't a big deal but he could see them disappointed . Since then he decided to bunk his classes a few times , get into fights and thereby maintain a bad boy reputation but he was always focused in his studies and ended up having 3rd best grades in his class in his senior year (which explains him working hard to get into Harvard) .
He also told her that he wanted everyone to think of him as a bad guy so nobody would expect anything from him.

honestly, elle should've been with marco. first of all, she felt really happy when she was with him and they liked eachother's company. if she had broken up with noah i don't think it would've changed anything for him because of chloe. he was very close with her, who says they couldn't get together, even though chloe was "immune to the charms of noah flynn". this way, in the ending scene when it showed that elle was accepted into harvard and berkley, she could've chosen berkley to be with lee and *possibly* marco. another thing, i think that rachel's character is portrayed horribly in this movie. she's played off as a jealous girl trying to take away lee's best friend because she wants him all to herself. the amount of times that lee and rachel "broke up" in this movie is just cringe worthy. in the end, i wouldn't have made them be together again (lee and rachel), but of course it's a "happy ending". this is my opinion so no hate please

When I went to high school, there were girls who looked a lot older, but yes I think they might have been stretching it a bit in this particular instance. When they were casting she must have done something impressive to get this role. Do they have a dvd of those cast outtakes? I would take a look at that if they have it available.

@@asmaargs Thank you for replying. I don't see them very often but sometimes they have a casting part. I guess they didn't bother including it for whatever reason. The actress is named meganne young and she has an instagram, facebook, twitter, etc. account. If you type in kissing booth cast in google, you will see the cast and you can click on her name to view her age on there. She is the oldest one playing a teenager. I think there were some extras in there that looked older also. I think they may have chosen an older actress because they know how to act better also. It is hard to sometimes find a young actress or actor that really looks good and can also remember to say the lines well, with the facial movements you make also with that. I think possibly that was the reason they didn't specify a certain age background when they chose everyone for this film series. I think she is attractive though, so I obviously don't have much of an issue with it. That is an interesting name you have. Where are you located if I may ask you? Are you in the United States or somewhere else? I'm just curius about it.

@stop it get some help Noah and Chloe were more like best friends supporting each other. That being said, it is also understandable why Elle would feel insecure. Anyone would have felt the same, especially with the earring thing. Also, Chloe didn't talk about the earring while having the dinner coz everything happened so fast, and Elle left the table and maybe it took a while for Chloe to process everything.
Then comes the touching part. Elle and Lee were also very touchy but they were still best friends. The relationship between Chloe and Noah might have been the same.
And even if Noah was cheating on Elle with Chloe, I already liked her personality which wouldn't have made her any less of a queen (at least for me.) But I'm glad that things turned out the way they did.

Marco is better than Noah in every aspect! He’s handsome, funny, and not afraid to do ridiculous things like Elle. He understood Elle. Noah and Elle just had a physical relationship. Team Marco for LIFE!
It's funny how everyone is supporting Macro. Macro actually was looking for love where there was none. Elle told him she had someone already but she is having little issues. Macro's mission was to get Elle but the heart belongs to someone else already.
As for Noah, I guess he would have opened up earlier to Elle to calm her nerves but he was scared it will make her worried even more.

Kaitlyn Bolt Lee is trying to control her and makes these rules and ideas she has to follow or he doesn’t want to be her friend anymore like he’s a flipping five year old. Lee is a jerk and he don’t deserve Elle as a friend. As a grown woman with a husband and children I can tell you, live long friends are rare, and if you meet the person you wanna spend the rest of your life with, that person matters more than friends.

Like everybody else I'm here to read what people think about this movie and let's be honest.
I think at the very ending Elle didn't deserve anyone. He cheated Noah and he used Marco. Marco didn't do anything wrong. Marco didn't go for a girl with a boyfriend. Elle kissed him.
Also Noah deserves better too. He will have trust issues in his whole life against Elle. That relationship is broken and unhealthy after that kiss.
I think Elle just needs someone else apart from all this drama. She needs a fresh start. Marco and Noah also needs a fresh start.

Finally someone said, she's very selfish and it's never going to stop. I also didn't like what she did to Rachel, although Lee is partly at fault as well.

Because she didn't show respect for Rachel and Lee's relationship and for their privacy. But I honestly think that she didn't think that they need privacy. This shows how childish and immature Elle is. She thought they can do everything as 3 but she was very rude about costumes and all. But Lee was wrong too. It was not partly, he needed to speak up for her girlfriend and for her relationship.
