That Niners team during the Jim Harbaugh era was something special, sadly they couldn’t win a Super Bowl

Both teams were absolutely stacked. To this day GB still haven't replaced Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson and Randell Cobb. 3 of the best WRs he's ever had.

The 49ers in the early 2010s were legit. They made 3 straight NFC championship appearance’s and 1 SB appearance . Their dynasty could’ve been bigger than it already is

The Harbaugh Era 49ers were something else they were so stacked. Hopefully the Shanahan Era can turn over soon and make the 49ers a great team again
Sad to see the Harbaugh 49ers not get the recognition they deserve sometimes. We had some good years with Garcia and Owens, 12-4 one year but this was when they were truly a Super Bowl team again since the late 90’s. I like this squad better than the current Shanahan Niners.

That Harbaugh squad was special and definitely stacked, but I like the Shanahan era a little more. Harbaugh is way more irritating, and the team culture is just more positive nowadays (and fewer players getting arrested, for one thing). And both sides of the ball is similarly stacked.

@@stevendiryawish752 the reason they lost in the 2011 nfc championship is because the backup KR fumbled multiple times. If that didn’t happen they’d advance to Sb 46 and for sure win it. They should’ve won Sb 47 but the refs missed a clear PI call in the back of the end zone on Crabtree, that’s 2 Super Bowls they should’ve won. 2013 NFC championship. They technically lost because of a bullshit RTK call which gave Seattle another drive that should’ve never existed, they would’ve most likely won that game and also beat Peyton Manning in SB 48. The 49ers should’ve 3peated through the 2011-13 season and they should’ve won SB 54 for the 2019 season. They could’ve won 4 Superbowls during the 2010 decade.
@@MasonPatrick2.0 Despite all those heartbreaking moments for the 49ers, the giants and warriors made up for it. Giants won three world series titles from 2010-2014. Warriors won the NBA Finals this year (their other titles in 2015, 2017, and 2018 were when they were in Oakland, so those probably don't count as championships for San Francisco, but they'll probably win some more titles in the next few years).
2013 was the last time that the niners were a good team up until 6 years later when Jimmy Garappolo took over as quarterback and he beat that bad man, Aaron Rodgers in the NFC championship game in January
Then Jimmy choked in the SuperBowl against the Chiefs and blew a 20-10 lead in the 4th quarter
More like Raheem Mostart and that defense completely obliterated the Packers

Levi Stadium seems like a nicer building. Yet has had issues with the field and sections getting too hot in direct sunlight.
But Candlestick seems like it was a better place to watch a game.

Everyone loves to hate on this dude, but he could obviously play at a high level. His team gets gutted from the head coach to the OLine, WR corp, and defense on down after the 2014 season and all of a sudden it's his fault they're losing and he's not a good QB and never was. Pretty ridiculous the selective memory people have.

Everyone loves to hate on Kaep and blame him solely for the drop-off for SF, but it's like they conveniently forget that 75% of his team left or retired along with his head coach and every decent coordinator. We all saw how he played when he had a decent team around him.
