    Jon Gruden calling a 34 year old man a kid explains some of his decisions in Vegas.

    • @erikpuka2627
      @erikpuka2627 2 년 전 +8

      Gruden is a bad manager of personalities.Bad men manager.Treats them differently.Gives some privileges to do what they want and some others not.He babysits some.He let Keyshawn Johnson in Tampa do whatever he wanted and it backfired on Gruden.That creates jelousies and conflicts even between players themselves.Say what you want about Belichick but his old school and military/utilitarian approach really worls for him.He treats(or really tries to treat) everyone the same and is fair.No one is above anyone or below anyone but that expectation to perform is high so he lights a fire under everybody and doesn't appreciatw divas in his team.Never was a big fan of Bill but that makes him great and I respect that.You either got to be Tough /Soft or neutral but the same with everybody.Gruden singles out favourites and puts his feelings for Players above their actual value.Many times he got rid of great players just because he didn't get along with them and kept bad players cause he loved them.Same with Khalil Mack for ex.Also he trues to show off like a Rockstarand overcoach the QB which can also Turn the QB against him.Like Jerry Jones trues to show off ljke the superstar of Cowboys - Gruden does too in his own way.He got a very big ego and carries himself like a Superstar

    As a Bears fan, the Cowboys really just couldn't get anything. They had one of the greatest modern NFL games, even maybe in consideration for one of the best games in NFL history against the Broncos-- lose the game because of a wide receiver error that is OBVIOUSLY blamed on the 5 touchdown 500 passing yard qb, Tony Romo. Then they proceed to get flame-broiled by a "backup QB" (sleeper agent) on the night of Ditka's retirement ceremony on national television. Truly a Cowboys moment in history

    The 2013 Bears scored 445 points. That’s the most in franchise history for any Bears team that didn’t win the Super Bowl. They only went 8-8, however, because they allowed 478 points that season. That’s easily the most they’ve ever surrendered in franchise history. They’ve given up 400+ points in only 2 other years. The 2013 offense was loaded. Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffrey both had career years. Brandon Marshall did his thing. Martellus Bennett had his 2 best seasons as a Bear in 2013-14. Josh McCown threw for 1,829 yards in roughly 6 games. He had the 3rd best QB rating and the number 1 QBR in the NFL. He threw 13 touchdowns and only 1 interception. The Bears picked the worst season they could have to suck on defense. If they would’ve been your typical Bears defense that year they probably win the NFC.

    If the Bears had an above average to decent Defense, they would have made the play offs 1-2 times in that era.

    It's remarkable how the Bears franchise can have stretches of franchise QB level play but never a full season. Not since Sid Luckman (1940's) have the Bears had a legit franchise starting QB with any sort of consistency. Even by blind luck you'd think they'd hit on someone in free agency or the draft by now but nope... that position has been a 70 year long and counting garbage fire.

    To this day Im livid that Phil Emery and Trestman went back to Cutler as the starter. After this game McCown was the second highest rated passer in ALL of the league behind Peyton Manning. Cutler had NEVER even sniffed playing as well as McCown was for the Bears, not even in Cutlers FLUKE pro bowl season that SHOULD have went to Phillip Rivers. To add insult to injury instead of letting captain average walk after the average season Cutler had, and drafting either Garropolo or Carr, they gave Cutler that MORONIC contract. All while sitting on their thumbs to watch Aaron Donald get picked one spot before the Bears picked. GOD I AM SO GLAD Phil Emery is LONG GONE!

    This man has so many team jerseys that his daughter doesn't have enough friends to wear them all lol. That being said, he's been a clutch player at times. Like this video for example

      Not a bears fan either but offense wasn’t their problem.
      Their defense was 31st in points per drive and gave up the most rushing yards that season.
      I remembered the game vs the Eagles were they lost 54-11 and the Eagles had almost 300 yards rushing.
      Sorry but you ain’t gonna win a lot of games being only good on one side of the ball

    Bears had a top 2 offense in 2013 only behind a historic broncos team. Marc trestman was a great offensive mind but he was truly lost as a coach. If he was the offensive coordinator for the bears 2012-2014 and lovie smith remained the head coach and urlacher didn’t retire the bears could’ve snuck a deep playoff run or two in there. Josh mccown should’ve won the starting job over cutler with this performance too.
