Yeah that was sweet but the patriots comeback was in the Super Bowl that‘s what make it better. Actually, the patriots have better comebacks then this Super Bowl, I don’t think this was the best patriots comeback actually. I remember when the patriots were down to Denver forget what year. It was the game that made Julian Edelman famous.
Also another comeback people don’t talk about was the colts vs chiefs in a wildcard playoff game. I think it was Andy Reid first year as head coach in Kansas City. Again forget the year.

I started watching NFL about 3years ago and I don't understand why he isn't mentioned as a top WR in history
@@tomzd99he only has 3 1000 yard seasons. Nothing against him at all because I love Edelman, but he was always more of a reliable security blanket than a true number 1 wr. Plus Brady would always spread the ball around to tons of guys, so outside of gronk nobody really had amazing individual stats, but that's why the team was always so good, everybody chipped in.

First time watching an american football game win uni, its actually a pretty good sport.
This was absolutely impossible. Even years later, knowing how this game ended, it is truly astonishing that the Patriots were able to win this game. To come back 25 points in any football game is hard, to do it in 17 minutes is outrageous, to do it in the Super Bowl is legendary.

@@troyhbk Nah, Brady had some great throws in there. A little bit of luck on the Edelman catch but there's nothing Falcons did wrong, just wrong place, wrong time. You can say Falcons should have run it more but we have seen many teams play it safe and lose.

The Patriots followed the most basic rule in sports.. Don’t give up.
Chef C The Patriots were starting to get something going on offense until that pick-6 happened and were able to get a FG at the end of the half.
Then came the extended halftime because of the SB halftime concert, the Patriots did simulate that situation during the lead up to the game when Bill Belichick took the players off the practice field and straight into the locker room and told them he was simulating how to get themselves ready for the extended halftimes which could be up to 30 minutes which occurs in a Super Bowl so they know how to stay physically ready especially with all the stop and starts that happens in a Super Bowl.
The Falcons offense had not been on the field for almost 70 minutes in real time when they led 14-0 in the second quarter and then they first got possession up 21-3 in the third.
And that's exactly what they need to do these next few weeks.

Kyle Shanahan. All these years later and I still can't believe he didn't run the ball and kick a FG after the Julio catch in the 4th quarter. He does and there is no chance NE wins. Falcons gave it to them with epic mismanagement of the clock, terrible OL play, and Matt Ryan inexplicably taking sacks when they just had to not go backwards
We both see the same thing. 1st and 10 at the Patriots 22 up by 8, with 3:55 left. 99 out of 100 times in the NFL, that game is over. That's how we feel. Imagine how Shanahan and Ryan feel watching this. It must haunt them.

Yes, playing for a field goal is not ideal strategy, but simply running the ball to avoid risk of losing big yardage and burning your opponent's timeouts in the process is WAY better choice

All my friends who knew I was a brady fan were blowing up my phone as they were getting blown out. I just quietly took all the heat hoping for a miracle comeback. Generally because when teams hold huge leads and allows a 20+ point comeback...its a choke job. Seattle had the best defense and allowed brady to just march to erase a 14 point lead and then obviously, the call for a pass play that destroyed the hope for a back to back. I always believe its a combination of both in these kind of situations. Brady and the crew still had to make the plays and the falcons (being the number 1 offense) failed to score a field goal to win the game.
